How the heck does superman cut his hair or shave? This has bothered me for some time. He cant use scissors or a razor. Does he pluck out his beard one hair at a time? How does he always keep such a GQ style haircut? Who is his barber?

as far as shaving he uses heat vision and a mirror... not sure about the hair though...

It does grow. He had long hair and a beard in his 1000-year stay in Asgard. I bet he uses the heat vision for his haircut as well.

Maybe his hair just isn't that strong. It does still blow in the wind, if it was as strong as steel it would be rigid all the time.

Why wouldn't it work for his hair? It might be bothersome to have to angle the heatvision correctly, but for all we know, Kryptonians might only need a haircut once a year.

im guessing... its an alien metal... plus pre-crisis i think he had scissors, a nail clipper & a paddle made from his ship... the paddle was so pa kent could beat him when he misbehaved lmao

I guess it's up for debate about how much pre-crisis stuff there now is in the DCU (retcons GALORE!!), but as far as I know, the ship's metal is just that: Metal. It's not like it's made from kryptonite and weakens Superman in any way.

I heard that his hair doesn't grow...He did have a mullet after dying, but I assumed that was a side effect of the "death" and healing process. I do know that after he came back...he didn't get rid of the mullet until he became depowered and vulnerable...so I was assuming that was the first time he was able to do something about his hair. But who knows?...just do the whole suspension of disbelief thing...
