I picked "Other", because I'd like to see Gary Oldman play Sherlock Holmes. And for good measure, Timothy Spall for Watson.

Gary Oldman is my choice for Moriarty.

I think Ewan McGregor would be a great choice for a younger Holmes and Alan Rickman for an older Holmes, but the fanboy in me voted for Johnny Depp.

David Thewlis. Spall would be good as Watson with Walken as Moriarty and Eccleston as Col. Sebastian Moran. Oh and Chloe Sevigny as Irene Adler.

Hugo weaving is a good choice.The problem is some good actor doesnt mean good money. Now I'm not into box office but this time I would understand if Hollywood need someone who as both: fame & talent.

I actully liked Everetts Holmes, I like they kept the drug addict part to his Holmes

I could see him pulling of a good Holmes. His accent in 28 days Later suits Holmes more than his natural one.

Rufus Sewell

Sewell would make a good Professor James Moriarty if they go with a younger looking actor actor. Jonathan Pryce if they use an actor closer to Moriartys age.

Hugh Laurie is already playing Holmes really as House is partial inspired by the character.

Anyone remember the Young Sherlock Holmes movie from the 80's. I really liked that movie when I was a kid.
