Once again like with GL, you can't start a movie with the Flash in it with out mentioning Barry Allen. You can use Wally, but barry has to be there somewhere.

heck, the flash was the only character that we didn't really ever see any sort of origin for...out of the main ones...

What would be cool is to have Ryan Reynolds play Wally West. And have John Wesley Shipp (who played Barry in the tv series) play either Barry or Jay.

I'll say Barry, then they'll have someone to kill off. They can just use Wally in sequel who I like better anyway.

I gotta say that if the series starts with Barry it would kill me to see his death played out on screen. If they start with Wally and flashback to Barry once in a while that would be cool. Sorry guys, as cool as Wally is, I love Barry more.

I really wish they'd do a solo movie with Barry first. Imagine how shocking his death would be to the general public. No one expects the hero to die, and stay dead, in a superhero movie. Especially their first. People'd be sitting there wondering how he was gonna come back to life or turn out to not be dead, and then... whoa. He's really dead.
