who thinks spider-man 2 is the best?

Look Spiderman 3 isn´t a flawless Movie, but it has everything i want from a Superhero Movie

You said it right there. It's what YOU want. What you want is not what everyone else wants. What you find entertaining, others find lame and stupid. What you find boring, others find entertaining.

Put it down to different tastes. I've heard that happens with people :cwink:

Look Spiderman 3 isn´t a flawless Movie, but it has everything i want from a Superhero Movie it´s well paced and has the right mix of everything i couldn´t say that about the second Movie, because everything between the Actionscenes in Spiderman 2 is boring as hell........@Dock Ock you said everything in Spiderman 2 is right out of the Comics,right?....I say Raimi has never nailed the Character of Spiderman/Peter Parker and he never came close to the greatness the Amazing Spiderman Comic Books have been, and Spiderman 2 is the best example for that.......you also said that Sandman was a Villan without a mind in the Movie.....for me the 2 Minutes when he is in his wifes Apartment to see his ill Daughter and the whole Transformation scene is 10 times more touching then everything with Dock Ock in it in SM 2....Dock Ock should be a criminal Mastermind and not just a Marionet of his Tentacles.....and i still can´t believe that Octavius gives Peter Love lessons, thats totally out of the Character i love and know from the Comics....but thats just my Opion, everyone has a different taste.

Well first of all congratulations on completely failing. I asked you to give me specific reasons as to why you prefer Spidey 3 over Spidey 2. You did not.

Second of all, you need more than 2 minutes to establish a villain so I don't want to hear about Sandman's pitiful first scene. They may as well have just had Thomas Hayden Church look into the camera and say "I'm going to start tearing **** up but you're supposed to feel bad for me. I have a daughter."

Dear Tom, I'm gonna step here in the defence of Batspider.
How did he fail to give you reasons for liking SM3 more than SM2? I believe his reasons were perfectly understandable - better action, better villain and he found the plot more engaging.

No, that’s what you need. For Batspider those two minutes were quite enough. And he was touched by Flint’s family scene while you weren’t.

And Batspider next time you ask someone to explain their opinion to you, don’t jump to loud conclusions, otherwise your questions sound empty. It’s your opinion and you mentioned it but Dock Ock and Tom were just thrown off by your rudeness.
Ock said it right:
What you find entertaining, others find lame and stupid. What you find boring, others find entertaining.

;)

Because "has the right mix of everything" and "I say Raimi has never nailed the Character of Spiderman/Peter Parker and he never came close to the greatness the Amazing Spiderman Comic Books have been, and Spiderman 2 is the best example for that" are not reasons.

No. If you want a villain to be sympathetic (which Sandman obviously was supposed to be) you need to develop that. I was touched by the scene with Flint's family as well, but it was the film equivalent of saying 'look, he has a daughter. Let's move on.' It was never developed.

Sure those two may sound more like opinions rather than reasons but isn't that what you're gonna get when you ask someone to explain their own view on a subject - other opinions, other biases?
Someone else’s reason may not necessarily sound valid to you.

That’s entirely your perspective alone and hardly is a world standard. Again, that’s what you need, while some people like Batspider might not.

:)

No, it's fine that he feels that way I'd just like him to be a little more in depth. If you ask somebody why they think a movie sucks, if their response is 'Because it wasn't good'.....that doesn't really help.

Spider-man 2 will probably be the best Spider-man movie we see..for a long time.

Your mom told me last night she dissagrees

wow that was lame as hell.

WHOA LET ME GUESS youre gonna say "you mom is lame as hell" right?

mom jokes are so dumb they have nothing to do with anything at all half the time. for example:

"spiderman 2 was better than spiderman 3"

"your mom was better than spiderman 3!"

stupid.

oh and spider-man 2 was the best.

spider-man 1 9/10 (only problem was some of the sfx early on)
spider-man 2 10/10 (perfect)
spider-man 3 7/10 (even though i was dissapointed the first time, the second time it was very enjoyable, and the first half is great)

Agreed :spidey:

I would say that Spider-man 2 is probably the most well crafted of the series. I do admit that now when I watch it,there are alot of scenes focusing more on Peter than Spidey. I wouldn't call the film boring by any means, but after you've seen it a number of times you just kinda wanna get to the action scenes(at least I do). But,I have to be honest. I've seen Spider-man 3 a total of 7 times in a theatre and each time I never was bored. Yes,I kinda wanted to get to the symbiote/Venom moments, but I didn't mind the trip to get there. That being said, however,I LOVE the entire series. There are flaws in each film, but that doesn't bother me. I don't pick apart these films unless there is some major flaw. But I found that each film was wonderful for me and left me on the edge of my seat waitng for another sequel.

To be quite honest I thought it was the worst, S3 was the best closely followed by S1

I thought Spidey 2 was incredible. It seemed to balance everything nicely, and awesome fight scenes to boot. The movie still gives me chills.

best superhero movie, it will be taken over by the dark knight however

I actually prefer 1 & 3. :ninja:

Not saying SM2 is bad of course...it's very good but I don't feel it has as much replay value as the other two.

Here's how I rank them:

1. Spider-Man
2. Spider-Man 3 (Maybe tied with Spidey 1)
3. Spider-Man 2

Just my opinion...

I think the only real problem with Spider-Man 2 is pacing. It goes about 30-40 minutes before something interesting happens (the lab scene) and then after the "Spider-Man No More" scene, we wait another 30-40 minutes before getting back into the superhero side of things.

Other than that, I agree that it is the best. I would rank them as:
SM2 - 9/10
SM3 - 8.5/10
SM1 - 8/10

Spider-man 2 seemed the most meaningful to me, and scenes such as Peter being unable to save someone from a burning building because he had quit left a lot to think about.

But even more so I think it was extremely well focused on Peter as a character, his development and growth throughout the entire film, and there was a particular emphasis to understand his identity as the film went forward instead of telling just another Spider-man tale about learning a lesson. In this way, I think it got to the heart of the character; why he is Spider-man, even more than the first film, why he continues to do what he does everyday. And it seems to me his character went through the biggest challenge out of all three films. Giving up an identity entirely is a huge and radical decision in life. Overall, that level of focus and depth that I got from the film is what I think makes it easily the best of the trilogy.

Spidey 2 is by far the best. I can understand why people have problems with the pacing, but I honestly enjoy watching Peter Parker just as much as Spider-Man so it never crossed my mind.

spiderman 2 is a horribly put together story considering how much back history they had.

If it was an original piece, fair enough but this is simply shocking

ock's wrong, parker's wrong, mj's wrong, aunt may's wrong.

and alot of the problems people find with spidey 3 are actually there in spidey 2.

and alot of the 'not true to comics' problems people have with other superheroes are all right there in spidey 2.

it's a horrid viewing and bar fights has no repeatability factor in my eyes. Even the fights were poorly thought out. Might as well have aunt may going toe to toe with the hulk :o

^Agreed. I don't even know why they bother. If you're going to do something, especially if it involves a budget of $200million at least do it right. Everything about the set up, the characters, the motives...it's all moronic and what's worse is, these guys have more than enough resources to make these films better than they should but they can't be bothered.

To be honest, there wasn't enough Venom and Symbiote Spider-Man so...

Im gonna go with SpidaMan2!
