yeh i think so

Spiderman 2. By far the best of the three Spiderman movies.
The first one was so-so and the third one was a horrid mess.
Even so, I must admit Spiderman 2's premise is quite flawed. What's the big deal with quitting as Spiderman in the middle of tears and Uncle Ben's dreams when he was losing his powers beyond his own will anyway? What's the drama of the quitting if he had no choice?
But in spite of incoherences, the movie felty quite great.
really u didnt like that scene, i found it to be the most powerful and best scenes of the whole trilogy. i mean he was losing his powers but the conflict within was clearly there in the beginning before he started falling and losing his powers (with mj/school/lost his job), i thought the doctor was saying he didnt have to be spider-man climbing those walls so he felt he had a choice and could be with mj and live a regular life, i ono maybe still a bit complex i guess, but it was a great scene for me personally for him to relive one of his last times with uncle ben
He didn't actually lose his powers. It was all psychological. The emotional stress of being Spider-Man and the reprecussions it was having on his life was becoming way too much for him. It was alienating him from everyone and everything in his life that he cared about.
Peter had a choice. He just didn't know it yet. After the doctor didn't find anything physically wrong with him, Peter realized his powers were on the blink because he was not happy being Spider-Man. "I have a choice". But, he had to wrestle with his conscience first, before quitting. That's what the Uncle Ben sequence was about. Uncle Ben's death was the primary reason he became a hero. He had to sort out those demons before he could live a normal life. Not use his great power with great responsibility anymore, meaning stop being a hero.
Great stuff. All taken from ASM Annual #1, and ASM #50. Stan Lee's finest.
Spiderman 2 is the weakest of all 3 Movies....the Trainfight is the only thing i liked about that Movie everything else is boring as Hell....this Movie is the best example that Raimi is just a B-Director who should be taken far away from all future Spiderman Movies.
Me too."Who thinks Spider-Man 2 is the best?"
Me.
