Sequels Who would be the villain for SM4?

I agree..... The problem with Venom being the only villain in a movie is what he would be doing for the entire movie. What has always been the main goal of Venom? Destroying Parker and nothing else. He knows every thing about Peter...Where he lives..Who he loves....What he does....The whole movie would be Venom harassing and taunting Peter. Venom doesn't want power, he is not a scientist with a massive ego, he is not a petty ciriminal who wants money,he doesnt want to take over the world, he is not a serial killer. Its just Peter Peter Peter. I like Venom and he is cool as hell but what more could you do with him?

That's why it's good that he'll never be in another movie.

Venom in SM3 is perfect...no matter how short, his amount of screentime is perfect for his character.

A story can be made, that Adrain Toomes finds out about Dr. Connors Regenerative limbs research, and decides to buy the rights of it from the University that Connors works at, hoping Connors can apply his research to not only regenerate limbs, but somehow Regress Age.
Toomes also should buy a large share of Oscorp. He takes the Glider, and finds an early reseach document to a performance-enhancing chemical vapor.
Toomes combines Connors reseach with the PECV, to create a new chemical that gives him an increase in his speed, strength, and stamina. Also finds that he is younger(now played by Tom Hardy), but also finds that the effects don't last, and has to continue the use of the serum. With the Glider Tech, he designs a suit out of it that allows him to fly. After all this Toomes decides to use this for personal gain. He starts sabotaging his competition, robbing banks, so on, so on.
Connors goes on to become more and more Depress and eventually takes his serum which changes him to the Lizard.

I want to see Carnage more than anyone else (no, really), but considering the producers aren't willing to rate the film higher than PG-13, plus the fact that Carnage is a murdering psychopath who would warrant an R rating, it's just not gonna happen.

I'd like to see a film with Carnage like the way it was done in the comic...Carnage goes on a murderous rampage, with Spidey asking for Venom's help.

I agree dude. I want to see Carnage too. Out of him and Venom, Carnage is definately my favorite. I imagine they could tone him down a bit for a movie. The Joker's in the Batman sequel, and he's a psychopath so I can't see a problem with putting Carnage in a Spidey movie. Venom might be a little scary for the kids, yet he's in Spider-Man 3.

I still remember back before Spidey 2 came out there was an article about Sam Raimi discussing the possiblity of Jake Gyllenhaal playing Carnage in Spider-Man 3. Obviously it didn't happen, but It doesn't mean it couldn't. Carnage might pop in at some point. With possibly 3 more movies, the Symbiote and Venom being introduced, I say it's very possible if he's in high demand.

One of the questions they ask each castmember is "What hero would you like to be?"

Dylan Baker says something along the lines of, "I think we'll know soon... well, relatively soon. I think you know what I'm talking about. The Lizard. I'm hoping Sam Raimi will find a way to work him in." Not technically a hero, but pretty cool nonetheless.

Personally, I cast my vote for The Lizard, Man-Wolf, and Hobgoblin myself. Any of these would be perfect in the fourth movie. I'd try to keep the villans mostly in the classic vein for now and then, in future movies, have the newer ones.

Lizard maybe but after number 3 im done with the goblins and man wolf isnt one of the most original villians

Ock is coming back whether you like it or not... they kept Sandman alive to save him for SM6... and there was a blatant bugle issue hanging in Jameson's office when he was taking pills titles "Doc Ock still at large"... yeah it was probably a headline from SM2 but you know damn well Sony wanted to leave it out there in the open for future possibilities
