I think Steves25 is exactly right. With the love triangle already being dealt with in SP3 it would be horrible writing to do it again in Spiderman 4 or 5. We have already seen it..even if it was very half handedly done. But I would love to see the character. She could be very interesting if they cast the right actress. I hear the choices of Ali Larter and Eliza Dushku..I could look at those two all day but the actress whom I think would be dead on in sex appeal, acting ability and having a good chemistry with Tobey is Christina Ricci !! Think on it

Ricci for Black Cat? NO sorry but thats a horrible casting, i love her to death, i really do shes a great actress, but if she were in a superhero movie, id want her to be either harley quinn or if she gained some weight and became taller, then catwoman

I want to see her in the film. Who else would want to see her or wouldnt mind seeing her? I know many are against it because shes a rip off of catwoman but its not like we're gonna see catwoman anytime soon in a batman movie because of the horrid movie starring halle berry. So i just want to know,for the ones who wouldnt mind seeing BC,what would you do interms of story lines etc and played by who?

My vote goes to either Ali Larter or Eliza Dushku. I dont want to see elisha because:
A)Shes waaaay too over cast
B)i dont see any resemblence to black cat in her other than being blonde
C) i was never impressed by her acting
D) tobey,kirsten are older now and so are their characters and they no longer look like school kids and elisha looks too young compaired to them IMO,plus eliza and ali are both in the same age range as tobey and kirsten(eliza is 26 only 2 yrs older than elisha but she looks older than she is)
E)i really cant imagine Elisha Kicking ass as well as eliza or ali can,i think elisha is more supergirl material

As for story lines,i would have MJ and pete ''settled down'' but a new girl is in town*(felicia) and is in petes class and he ''falls'' for her even though he is with MJ but shares a deeper interest in The black cat while as Spiderman......and maybe have Felicia and MJ old rivals or something....thats just from the top of my head so its probably not that good

Meh. All those 3 suck for BC. Ricci is too good for these movies imo.

biel would work.. prob not the best choice.. but she can look the part, and has decent enough acting ability. im sure theres better girls out there.. but as a friggin huge black cat fan, she'd do. SMG i think could do a decent job as well, though shes not as "vavavoom" as felicia is

Don't get me wrong...Biel has great qualities for the Black Cat...there is not a person here who can honestly say he would kick her out of bed....BUT this is all about match ups and I don't think she would match up well with Tobey's Spiderman. Maybe if it were Gyllenhaal that combo would match up better...but seeing Kirsten as MJ and how they cast Bryce as Gwen Stacy these women both have similarities and I think Christina fits in that line. Ricci seems more like what Tobey's Peter Parker would go for...I mean look at how they cast Betty Brant. All the women in this Spiderman world whom Peter desires have similarities and Biel would not quite jive with that

Granted, wiki can be used for so much evil, but I was reading the entry for BC awhile back and the entry suggests that Catwoman is the real knockoff. I'm not too familiar with the Bat universe...I know the bare minimum, so I'm not sure how accurate it is. But the entry says Catwoman's origin as a cat burgler and love interest/antagonist to Batman wasn't fleshed out until after Black Cat's intro in the Marvel U.

It still doesn't help BC's cause though since, even if BC is an original, Catwoman stole all her spotlight so everyone will just consider BC a Catwoman knockoff regardless.

Catwoman came first... and in a way Felicia was a copy of that... but present day Catwoman ironically is alot more of a copy of Black Cat then Black Cat ever was of Catwoman...

Catwoman started off as a villain... and imo she's alot more badass as one..
but in recent years she turned good and at least in apperance comes off alot more black catish, fun and flurty rather then a veluptuos villainess

Black Cat was introduced as a quasi villian, but unlike catwoman was never taken seriously as one. Her love and friendship with spider-man was much heavier... and her "crime" was depicted more as an addiction. The villain status quickly dropped.. and she's now Spider-man's best friend and most trusted alli, she's sassy, shes prisy, but she's also got balls.

Ricci is way too good for Tobey and for this franchise. But if you want reasons why she shouldnt be black cat heres why(IMO)
Her weight-shes way too small for Black Cat
Height-Extreamly short at 5'1( Thats why i dont want her for catwoman, she actually can look like catwoman at times but shes wayyyy too skinny and too short, compaired to bale and Tobey, she would be like a mouse)
Looks nothing like black cat, not even one feature IMO
