Who's mutant power will be useful during the final battle of x-men in x3?

I'm going to be wacky and go with Rogue on this one...

Wacky works with me. I think that Rogue will be most useful because she can do the most things whenever she touches somebody's skin. She isn't limited to one person's powers so she can do cool combos and have an element of surprise. Especially if she takes Mystiques powers and people can't tell if she's Rogue or Mystique so she can spring attacks.

storm may be have the most potential, but the focus will mostly be on showing the extreme nature of phoenix's powers. it just makes the most sense for that to be in the movie. i dont see why they would just up and make storm 18X more powerful than she ever was in the movieverse. she can fly now, thats something new, i dont think they are gonna overload her with power all at once.
having said that, i think that rogue may be doing some very cool stuff. the battle will probably be near the end of the movie, and throughout the movie we will see rogue conflicted with the cure issue. it will be sort of a surprise when rogue shows up in the battle, because it will be after we are led to think she went for the cure. it will be like TA-DA! rogues here. she will probably have some amazing display of power even if its just for that scene to show shes back in action. during this scene she may steal multiple abilities at a time (ie. stealing juggernauts strength, using it to punch arclight across the screen, which in turn steals arclights power etc...) giving fanboys a taste of the comicbook rogue (maybe she will even fly)
anyway, if you think of it like this, it becomes clear why she wasnt in the lineup on the trailer, they want it to surprise you to some extent. i think they will use that opportunity to give her a great scene that will leave us comic bookers creaming our collective levi's.

After some consideration, I've decided I'm okay with Rogue getting her comic-book super-chick (Ms. Marvel) powers, for a limited time, at least . . .

I can certainly see her doing a quick drain of Juggs and Phoenix (possibly with Kitty phasing her around to so - it'd be cool to see the two team up in the final fight after spending two hours fighting over Bobby) and then whaling on someone hardcore.

Things like heavy rain, hail and tornados could also affect her teammates however.

But the X-Men are likely going to be mingled with the Brotherhood for most the battle. There won't be distinct sides, no one crossing the centre line. Storm will need to make sure she's hitting only Brotherhood members, and not X-Men and the military.

People need to stop pushing this Colossus/Juggernaut thing so far...

Surely it'll probably happen, but if it does, I think it'll only become the climax of an already interesting confrontation (build-up)...
