There have been plans to build a new stadium across from YS but it would still include tearing the building up....

I saw an episode of SportsCentury: The Yankees Part: 1 and so much has happened in that field that it should be declared a historical monument... and I'm not just saying that cause I live in NY but what you said Supes... it's got such a history.

Yeah, no matter who you root for, you have to respect Yankee Stadium, Wrigley Field, and Fenway Park for the history that all of them carry...I wonder why they haven't been declared national mouments yet? I mean especially with a big baseball fan in the WhiteHouse...

Fenway's been around since the start of the century... it's probably older than Wrigley or any current stadium or ball field.... all these buildings have meaning cause they've been around year after year after year. They really do need to be made national monuments.
