Anyone else get a call on their Joker phones? Mine rang at 12:43 AM PST and I didn't catch it because I was in a movie. A voice message was left that sounded like someone coughing.... or choking!

Maybe it was a wrong number. Anyone else get a call?

He didn't miss anything. I have the Chicago phone and I have been receiving calls from wrong numbers or telemarketers and text messages from different advertisements. It was probably just someone calling the wrong number. I could be wrong and maybe he got a special phone call but I would imagine he is experiencing the same thing I am and getting telemarketers and wrong numbers...several people have called my phone asking for "Veronica", indicating the number I have was an old number.

Nothing will happen until after the holidays, probably beginning next week. Something will happen before Jan. 30 since that is when the phone accounts expire (anyone who has a phone and checks their account info on the phone can confirm this...I am sure that has been posted somewhere on the boards before). The time is approaching and Im sure the Joker will be calling and not some guy with a bad cold.

Yeah, that's kind of what I thought. I figured I'd post and see if anyone else received a call before I started dissecting the vm.

Kind of bummed that I missed the call though. I had the phone set to vibrate and didn't feel it go off when I was in the theater. Guess I'll be keeping this baby on LOUD from now on!

Us Brit's don't ever get anything like this. And I now know who to aim the blame squarely at as well if something goes wrong.

Maybe the people who are asking for a particular person are just part of the company making it seem like the phones were stolen from people.
Even if they don't, it just add's to the drama.

So, after a couple attempts, I was able to get in touch with the caller. They sounded confused and said they must have gotten the wrong number. So, chalk this one up as another red herring. Sorry for the fuss
