Why are so many women getting tattoos?

How do you feel about women with tattoos?

  • Look sexy/hot!

  • Some/most look nice

  • Don't care either way

  • Leaning towards "whateva"/not liking the fad

  • Think pretty disgusting/trashy

Allah made me, made you, and made the very planet you live on and the universe you live in. You know the saying? God's Green Earth? God's Good Earth? God's Earth? This God is Allah, you live on his made Earth, you live by the rules he made for us to live by, you are no exception

You are obliged to learn and do according to what Allah allows. You, me, and everyone are generally the same, same metabolism, same digestive system, same need for nutrition, same need for self cleansing and waste disposal, same need for sleep, etc..

Don't joke about it or try to be a wise-mouth, people did this before and disregarded warning sent to them, now they wish to live again and do what they made fun of like you are doing now, do you need to wait until it's too late to try and make up for your mistakes? No, you don't
Religion of Islam sets needed morals for humanity, self inflicting damage is immoral accordingly, of all kinds
Why did God allow tattooing to be invented at all then?

I am no longer arguing on this thread, I'll just continue to post killer art :D

Maybe a moderator can redirect people attention instead of allowing this thread to become a "religion vs." thread.

Why do so many men want to control women's bodies? That's immoral.

I think a lot of tattoo designs are stupid but it's a personal choice.

It's not about controlling or passing laws...its just telling them they look trashy...we're free to give them critique of their artistry...

Oh, so you are the only one who can address Spider-Aziz and mention anything about religion in this thread?

Thanks, good to know.

Because it's a hilarious thread.

Aziz, as a Muslim, you believe in the verity of the Bible right? Matthew 7:1-2 forbids the judgement of others .

First, I doubt Muslims follow the New Testament...although everyone should..but that's just me...

but Matthew 7:1 does not say DO NOT JUDGE....it says do not publicly criticize someone for a sin that you are also struggling with. This is aimed at Pharisees who were condemning the sins of poor using legalism but covering up their own sins.

Christianity doesn't say don't make any judgment. It does however say only Christ has power to forgive so our sins, so we're not in a position to condemn anyone to hell or say who is or isn't saved. That's different from what you're saying here..

God probably has a devil tattoo on his right buttock.
Yep, insulting people's beliefs is a pretty mature and logical way to talk about whether or not tattoos make people more or less attractive. :whatever:

 Grow up. I attempted to respectfully close a can of worms. In goading him, you're opening a completely new one.

Yeah it was totally offensive. Please accept my humble apologies!

but finding supermodels who happen to have tattoos is?

I think the fair thing to do is put out a challenge.....find a pair of pics from the same person where the pic with tattoos looks better than pic without tattoos...

just one pair...

hopefully I don't have to wait long...

I put out this open challenge to entire forum over 2 weeks ago...

and nobody has even attempted to respond to this challenge. That fact alone should end this thread.....tattoos on women are disgusting. Period.

You're missing my point completely. If you'd like to further discuss this, I've responded to you here.

Because it's a ridiculous challenge to a ridiculous theory you have here. Just because you don't like it does not make it disgusting. At all.

*Not sure if sincerity or mockery*

Awesome for you! Congrats on your newly appointed mod status...oh wait.
...I'm attempting to refocus the topic of discussion here. You're honestly just making yourself look bad. Watch me get back on track...

Hahaha. SM, you didn't put out a challenge as much as you put up a giant target on your back.

In your first post - hell, even in just your title - you came out and made all these declarations based on opinion and belief, as if they were facts. You can stand there and say "I don't like tattoos on women. I feel like it's too distracting from their natural beauty." and I can stand here and say "Fair enough, I appreciate it as it can be a nice expression of their inner character as opposed to simply material beauty" and we're both in the right. We're both talking about opinions and engaging in civil discourse.

But if you go "Tattoos are a sign of moral decay and women who get them are ugly!" and I stand here and go "**** you beliefs! Your God doesn't know ****!" we're both very much in the wrong.

Hope that helps clarify why people are so astonished by your posts.

Because nobody... Cares...

I do not think that tattoos on women are "disgusting", and no, I do not need to accept your "challenge" to validate that opinion.

About the "challenge" that wont work because of something called subjectivity©. In the end, we've all got opinions, but blanket statements just end up making things ridiculous.

If I said:

-"Bah, all girls without tattoos are boring and repressed! They don't know how to live!" *thrashes guitar while flaming jugglers headbang*"

and

-"Feh, all those inked girls are bizarre and horrid, time to get into my time machine and have lunch with President Taft." *smokes pipe*

I would look like a fool if I said either above statement.

It's one thing to say what YOUR preference is, but linking tattoos with moral decay is bizarre. There's no aesthetic test for good and bad. Look at how so many vile, morally bankrupt politicians and business men look like squeaky clean bankers or kindly old shoemakers in European fairytales!

Why do I keep coming back to this thread? :(
