Assertive>Aggressive
I think with the shy crowd we have around here, most of the guys here would prefer a girl who made the first move.It seems like the majority of guys here want women to be more aggressive. But how much of that can she show before her aggressiveness and assertiveness makes her 'b1tchy'?
I prefer the woman to be more assertive AFTER we've established a relationship. I hate the mentality after you're in a relationship that any kind of romance has to be initiated by the man. I think any mature adult knows that women crave "romance" just as much, if not more, than any man so why not initiate?
Gotcha.Assertive>Aggressive
I can understand that. I think it's fear of rejection that makes a guy (or a girl, even) not want to make the first move and rather wait for the other person to do it.I think with the shy crowd we have around here, most of the guys here would prefer a girl who made the first move.
I guess some women still believe in that 'traditional' role of being... submissive. That being that way would please their men? I dunno. But it shouldn't be coz as far as I know, men are always ready for some action. All you have to do is give him the look of seduction and he's ready. Unless he's dead tired. Will he still want it if he's dead tired?I prefer the woman to be more assertive AFTER we've established a relationship. Hahaha!I have that problem with my Hubby...
Me: "What do you want for dinner tonight?"
Him: "I dunno, what have we got"
Me: "Chicken, Pork Chops or Fish"
... wait ...
Me: "So which should I make for dinner tonight?"
Him: "What do we have again?"
etc... until I finally get fed up and choose
Gotcha.

I think I'd prefer if women in general were more decisive about things in general. Forget who approaches who first to express interest, how about actually suggesting a place to eat when asked "Where do you want to go"?

What do you think of women who are involved in domestic abuse? Do you think they're the submissive kind?I don't know a woman out there who thinks of herself as "submissive". That kind of thinking may get you slapped now-a-days. They may want to be overpowered and dominated sexually but to actually verbalize the word submissive is grounds for an argument. Yeah men are usually ready for the physical aspect in a relationship... but women have just as much want as men, but for some reason to get anything out of a woman in that respect it is left ENTIRELY up to the man... and that is ridiculous.

I have a similar problem with my bf.
Me: So... what are we gonna do tonight? (It's the weekend)
Him: I dunno. What do you suggest?
Me: Wanna stay in and what a movie?
Him: Sure. What have you got?
Me: *Gives him list*
Him: I dunno. What do you suggest?
Me: Ugh! Wanna have sex?
Him: *Lights up* SURE!

Hahaha! I so need to speak with your girl.I actually just talked to my GF about this 2 nights ago, it drives me up the f**king wall.
Me: *Sitting playing video games...*
Her: You hungry?
Me: Yeah, I guess...
Her: Let's go get something to eat.
Me: Ok, where do you want to go?
Her: I don't know, where do you want to go?
Me: I... I... it wasn't my suggestion...
Her: But where do you want to eat?
Me: I don't care... this was your idea.
Her: Well you choose I don't like choosing where to go.
Me: Then why the f**k do you suggest it? It's not like our Fridge is empty.
Her: I just want to go out...
Me: Ok... WHERE?
Her: Just out... anywhere...
Me: Then go stand on the f**king patio... *back to playing video games*...

Hahaha! Works all the time.I spend 2 hours trying to call her after she got off work. I finally reach her and she's at a bar with her friend and said she totally forgot to call me. I get pissed off because she didn't call and I also made dinner and end the call abruptly.
She comes in.
Her: You're mad at me.
Me: Yeah you should have called.
Her: Do you wanna have sex?
Me: ......yes.

I do agree with you that when a woman wants something from her man, she should not be afraid to ask or make the first move.

Are obscenities and degrading comments used in making love?
