Wasn't the Saturday morning line up as big a deal as the prime time line up on all the major stations?

For some reason I remember previews, trailers, and pilot episodes waaaaay before the fall session aired.

For example, there was a show that had some kid who transported into his TV or NES through his PowerGlove and landed in NES land. I remember watching trailers for this show and possibly watching the pilot episode before it aired in the fall.

In other words, I remember bouncing back and forth between ABC, NBC, and CBS for the best of the best before SOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLL TRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN came on.

And then, one day I woke up and Saturday mornings sucked.

Can anyone name one major stations exact line up for a said year Satuday morning?

Awh.. the days of wanting to wake up at 7 to watch cartoons are over.

Now we stay up to watch Robot Chicken. Bah-Bock-Bock-Bock!!

I don't recall ever watching any mazinger z when I was younger but I remember seeing the robot alot on magazines or something. I had this old cassette of the staravengers though, which was made why the same company who made mazinger. It was awesome.

and for that brief span on Saturday Afternoons.. it was the G.L.O.W. Girls...

I remember watching Gigantor. It wasn't the original Gigantor, it was in color and i think it was made in the 80's.

I also remember watching Dragonball before it was big in America, I was like 6 or 7, so it was the early nineties. They stopped after Goku's first transformation, and then would restart it, which pissed me off later on in life.
