Why do you like the Black Panther character?

You know, that whole providing asylum for mutants or say, any superhuman in Wakanda is a pretty good idea. I think I came up with something like that in that Civil War OYL thread somebody made. This of course would bring the U.S. government into opposition against Wakanda. Possibly attempting to sanction the country or even try and invade. And we all know what happens to those that Invade Wakanda.

Thats one of the things I didn't dig about Hudlin's run. The changes he made to Klaw. I mean, I do dig the new look, but he was far more powerful before. Like a sound based Senestro or something. But, I don't know. In the long run it may be an improvement. Who knows.

Really?Dude,I loved Hudlin's interpretation of Klaw.I like how he made these b and c list villains actual forces to be reckoned with.

Is it true this was Hudlin's script for a BP movie?Because when I was reading the first arc,it really felt like I was reading a movie for some reason.

Yeah, but he was already a force to be reckoned with. Just never really taken seriously. He did do a great job with Batroc though.

One thing I would've liked to see would've been the women in Wakanda who had thought they had a shot and are now watching someone else show up to become the new Queen Mother.

I think the biggest reason I really began to like Panther was because of Christoper Priest's run with the character, anyone that's a huge panther fan views his run as the definitive Black Panther. He took a character that had basically become a background avenger and turned him into a major force to be reconned with. Plus I have to admit his costume is really cool, especially the Black and gold version without the cape.

I remember I first saw the character in Marvel Encyclopedia and loved the costume and always found it cool how his powers opposed his mortal enemy klaw. I also found it cool how he was a king. I didn't realize he was black until I read his comic. I always found the costume of him with the trenchcoat and the mask was cool (was that him or casper?), on a side note In priests run isn't it kinda determined that T'challa will die of a brain tumor?

Well, thats the thing about future stuff. Just because somebody says that this is gonna happen, doesn't mean that it will. I mean, just look at the whole Genis/Songbird thing. They were supposed to join the Avengers, fall in love and have a kid whom Genis would kill in his crib in order to stop him from destroying the universe in the far future. But now, Genis is dead and Songbird's humping Zemo.

That was Casper, although if T'challa started wearing that I'd love it.

I honestly don't think Hudlin has read Priest's run or he glossed over it. Either way guy is to ego driven to respect what Priest brought to BP.
