you just answered your own question.

I dig it. It's a good mix of Sci-Fi, Action, Comedy....and a hot Mila Jovovich!!

has great humor, cool and weird aliens and spiffy special effects

Willis, Jovovich (topless), Besson!

This is the reason its a great movie

Aknot: You asked for a case, we brought you a case.
Zorg: A case with FOUR STONES in it! Not one or two or three, but four! Four stones! What the hell am I supposed to do with an empty case?
Aknot: We are warriors, not merchants.
Zorg: But you can still count! Look, it's easy. Look at my fingers: four stones, four crates. Zero stones? ZERO CRATES!

this will be on the list of movies i get when i buy a blue ray player

it's a curse and a blessing. i was able to see Leeloo in sweet HD, but the flaws in the costumes and effects were easier to notice.

No, THIS is the reason it's a great movie...

I remember seeing this in the theater and just being blown away by how get the movie was. Really wasn't expecting anything from it, but it really surprised me.. Really liked the editing when two scenes were playing at the same time, like when Zorg is opening the case and Leeloo is explaining the stones aren't in the case or Leeloo's fight edited with the diva performance.

lol "Multi pass"

I remember seeing it in the cinema not knowing a lot about the film and really enjoying it. The soundtrack was great in the theatre.

Willis + Jovovich + Oldman + Tucker + Besson = a fun action film

this is definitely in my top 5 all-time favorite movies.

it's just, like... awesomeness incarnate.

I fell asleep when I saw it in the theater. Though I was in first grade and we saw the last showing of the night, 9:30-ish. Rented it on VHS and loved it ever since.

this movie is so underrated for no reason. Props to Gary Oldman.

the answer is the 5th Element herself... Milla Jovovich. when she was hot.

This has always been one of my favorite unsung movies. It's so great to see so much love for it. It had such a great frenetic energy to it - without crossing over into that ridiculous music video-type mindless dreck. It just hit the gas and, as long as you held on, was a great ride.

Only Gary Oldman could make a guy named Mr. Zorg such a badass.

I loved it. It even had some pretty spectacular FX.
