Why Not "Cure"/Save Jean?

i thought of that, what if one of those darts hit Jean, would it rid her of the Phoenix?

and i realized, no it wont. it would nullify her telepathic abilities-- all of it. she'll become ordinary human Jean Grey, until the time when the cure would wear off the her powers will return-- so will the Phoenix, and it'll be back to square one.

the only way to "cure" Jean Grey of the Phoenix is for Jean to control it-- which alas in the end she was unable to

Anyone disputing it read the thread, espeicaly ZeroCorpse's post, there's a few reasons as to why she coudn't/wouldn't have been cured.

People saying why didn't Colossus just throw Leech at Jean, are you f-ing serious!? you want the finale of the trilogy to be finished by a metal guy who has one line in the entire film to THROW A BALD CHILD at Phoenix.. just... just.. for the love of god.

And c'mon, Jean won't be back again. Not in the movies, obviously she'll be back in the comics sooner or later... and die again, then come back, then die again etc

Having seen what they were abble to do with Jean/Phoenix, I think she should stay in her death forever. It's time for other stories, that won't be so big, of course...
For what do we want more big plots, if they aren't abble to doing justice in the films?

I agree with colossus throwing leech at Jean. OMG... i'd freaking laugh if that happened and it wouldn't be as emotional...

As for Jean... I can kinda see her returning...-sighs- she's the phoenix... well whatever... who knows.

Let me sum all this up:

1. Colossus couldn't fastball special Leech, because Leech would have cancelled out Piotr's powers, thus no super-duper strength, thus no fastball special.

2. The cure vials were all destroyed, as was the building, the cars, and most of the island. Everyone on the island was incinerated except Wolverine. Even if Wolvie had a vial in his pocket, it would have been destroyed before he could get to Jean. He barely made it as it was. His claws, on the other hand, are INDESTRUCTIBLE. Jean couldn't incinerate them.

3. Leech's power only works within about 5' or less. Colossus couldn't throw him that far without powers, and even if he had powers, he couldn't do it. He didn't make it that far with Wolverine, anyway. Wolvie had to walk the last 25-40 feet.

4. Jean ASKED Logan to kill her SEVERAL TIMES. This was always the plan. Storm asked him much earlier if he was prepared to do what he had to do... Remember? They had already decided that Jean was buried beneath a personality that was too dangerous to live, and too powerful to take any chances. She had (apparently) killed Prof. X, Cyclops, and by the end, about 5,000 other people. She was beyond redemption. She didn't want to live with the knowledge that she had killed so many people-- especially Charles and Scott-- and she BEGGED for release.

Hey hey no need to take anything I say seriously, but please don't tell me you wouldn't at least crack a smile watching Colossus throw Leech at Jean
