Right now there´s only ONE thing really worrying me about this movie... All the marketing has been heavily focused on The Joker. I don´t want another Batman 89. I know what an awesome villain Joker is, but one of the things I don´t want to repeat from the old franchise is the villains getting more attention than Bats.

I hold nothing against Joker, but for f***'s sake whoever allowed these joker-noobs to get posted should be fired. These are insults to those of us who are actually giving up our time to do this and putting in a good 3-4 hour effort to get it done well enough to make Joker look good. Why don't they let Nolan pick the people.

I think they're focusing the marketing on him cause he isnt going to be a huge part of the actual movie...I'm guessing he'll get as much screen time as Ra's and Scarecrow combinded did in Begins...they've said in interviews that it isnt going to be about the Joker, and it is going to be a Batman movie again. So I'm not worried about that.

agreed, I went out, bought make up for all my friends who did it with us, we spent 2 hours applying the make up, then another hour getting the shots, and I dont get on, but TMNT Lad does. And Lipstick guy....jesus...

Well the movie is called The Dark Knight. Bats gets the movie title. I like how it's turning out with Bats and Joker having almost equal screen time.

t: But I guess it wouldn't kill Bats to start up a little viral campaign of his own. Then we'd have some real fun, the Bats vs the Jokers.

I've had ideas of a Bats game for a while, since the leaked pics came (Why would Joker have pics of him like he was, hmm?), but since Wayne wouldn't wanna expose himself (Or have anyone else expose him for that matter), it'd be a bit hard.

Anyways, I even got an idea of how it would start..

OOH.... Idea... Batmen VS. Jokers..... That made me think of something. A site started by the Sons of Batman... Does something, goes on for a bit, gives pics of bats, and a few of the SotB, and then Why So Serious gets updated with Joker saying something along the lines of "Dress up, my goons, and hunt them down." Soon after, SotB's site would update with a similar thing.... "Get geared up and clean up the streets. We need to put a stop to this."

And eventually they'd both have an address posted for them to go to, and it's the same place. Actually, now that I think, wouldn't work; Only a fight would make sense, and they'd get arrested if they did. Maybe have a scavenger hunt or something there, sorta like WSS in July? Meh, I killed it with the address.

But I think I was onto something for a bit.

That...is one of the best ideas I've ever heard. But who in their right mind would go up against us jokers? t: Think about it, me and some mates started up a joker group and we're doing pretty good, no real hard feelings against Batfans. I think it would be good for marketing. It would basicly be a Batfan group and a Joker fan group. Anyone who takes it beyond fun and games wouldn't be a real fan nor would they be allowed to be in the group. That's why I check the members in the joker army before accepting. Now we just need a true diehard batfan to start a Bats group.
