The Dark Knight Rises What could make "BATMAN III" more epic then Dark Knight?

Underscore is apart of the score, but when you refer to JNH as only doing that it makes it sound like he hasn't contributed much, as if he's only been doing "background music" this whole time. If that wasn't your intent, my mistake.

Oh god no, I didn't mean that at all. As a matter of fact, Harvey Two-Face is one of my favorite JNH songs ever.

Maggie Gyllanhal dead as Rachel Dawes... Hup... Never mind.

The Riddler, imo, just doesn't seem to have the weight to carry a movie all by himself; especially after a villain like the Joker. We need several lesser known villains for Batman 3.

Make it more like BB. Have The Ventriliquist, Black Mask, and Bane; those 3 will hit Batman from every angle. The Ventriliquist will test Batman psychologically, Black Mask will know how Bruce Wayne ticks, and Bane will challenge Batman physically.

I've never been a fan of the Riddler and I dont even know how he would be approached in this universe that could possibly build off the Dark Knight now that the Joker has been done. I'd love to see a Nolanized Bane, along with a new love interest perhaps Selina.

I love me some Fincher but any half-decent Riddler idea I brainstorm seems like it couldnt possibly be even close to on par with Dark Knight/Joker. I was thinking more like Seven, (ironically) and just having a twisted serial killer but even then the Joker would trump him in every way. I'm not sold on the Riddler idea yet but then again, Im not a writer in hollywood.

Riddler probably wouldn't have the type of role Joker had, in the sense that he wouldn't be carrying the film (that would actually be Batman). In terms of marketing, I think a combination of Riddler and Catwoman would be able to match the hype with the Joker.

It shouldn't be about one villain living up to The Joker. It should, at least in part, be about The Joker's influence leading to multiple "freaks".

I need to ask this, or I'm gonna go crazy! Am I the only ****ing one who DON'T wanna see CatWoman in B3!!? (and definitely not Robin, for that matter). I dont want the movie to expand in that direction. I wish to see a more "personal" batman story in the third picture. And this will more then likely be Nolans last go-around with the franchise, so keep the focus on bats, and rap it up beautifully. That's just how I feel, honnestly.

And possibly shifting the main focus back to Batman.

Bring back Arkham - now all of the narrows has become Arkham Island, the Trains, the Mansion, the Batcave and talk about Bruce's journey as Bruce Wayne and not just Batman - he's become too much of a playboy, he's not Tony Stark. Bruce Wayne is meant to be a respectable philanthropist like his father, so make it happen.

The main focus has been on Batman, what's different is how the character is explored.

I get what you mean, and I agree. What I meant was have the way he's explored like in BB.

Actually TDK was the first time we saw him do something good as Bruce Wayne by throwing the fund raiser for Harvey Dent. But he still has to keep up the playboy image. It's his trademark.

Even BTAS did it. Remember in MOTP, when he's got like three women hanging out of him, then another one comes along and chucks a drink in his face because he wined and dined her and then dropped her like a hot cake lol.

You can't explore him like you did in BB. BB was an origin story. It literally took the character from scratch and evolved him from scared child, to angry young man, to crime fighter.

He is Batman now, and they can only take it from there. He's got plenty to deal with after the events of TDK.

Ok, I started my whole point the wrong way, let me try again: I'd love Bale to get even more screentime this time around.

Definitely make Batman the focus of the next one; the Joker obviously stole the show in TDK. Take it back to his parents death...
