The Dark Knight Whysoserious.com Updated

I really like how the put a ribbon up. very sweet.

although I'm not to happy about how they took down the one heath poster.

wonder if it'll be recalled like that one Spidy poster with the twin towers in his eyes. I'm glad I already own a copy... it may become really rare.

Yeah. I actually bought two of the posters (Why So Serious and the poster with the Joker sitting in a jail cell with his hands on his knees) only a couple days before Heath's death. I got them on ebay for only $15. The last time I checked, the posters are now $200 or more.

Just so you know those aren't real poster's. Some one is just printing those and selling them.

I got the two real ones, the blood spattered Bat on the wall, and the creepy one with Joker coming out of the mist with the bloody smile.

I have those too. I wish they were selling the joker and batman standing in the city posters. Those look really bad ass.

agreed, but I'm also one of the small minority that actually liked the graffiti one more then the overseas poster.

I did see the Batman looking over Gotham poster on ebay express for $111 shipped. :wow: sorry, don't have the link. I don't know where to get the Joker in the street one, besides Total Film mag. Regardless, anything featuring Heath, is gonna cost a mint, at least for a while.

The posters I got were actual double-sided movie theater-type posters. They weren't the cheapo Walmart posters.

I have both of those as well. I got them from work. During my winter school break I work at a movie theater.

Of the joker sitting in the cell?
Speaking of the Joker sitting in the cell. Has anyone seen these autographed pictures on Ebay of Heath's Joker selling for over $1000 dollar. Jeez... I wish I could afford that.

Yeah. It's a 20x30 poster on really thick paper. It kicks ass!:oldrazz:

thats weird, its not official though, considering that was just a promo still from the movie, not a poster. Cool, regardless. I took the cheapo route by just printing them off on a 8x11 piece of computer paper. Glossy though!!! :)

I know the Joker Jail cell poster isn't official, but the Why So Serious one that I have definitely is.

Yeah the Joker cell pic was just a promo pic for Empire Magazine.

There are only 4 official posters out right now.
1. Why so serious? - with the bloody bat for a smile
2. Batman looking over Gotham city
3. Joker standing in the middle of the street, back to camera, holding a Joker card
4. Joker standing in the mist painting a bloody smile and the phrase "Why so serious?

1 and 4 are the domestic (America and Canada) and 2 and 3 are over seas.

its weird but when i watch the trailer i dont think of it as watchin him...its just the joker and i think that is a true testament to how he worked and how amazing he was at what he did...daniel day lewis put it best on oprah

Honestly, I teared up a little bit watching Daniel Day Lewis talk.

Heath said once in an interview that playing the Joker was the most fun he ever had on a film. I feel like changing things and tiptoeing around the character [Joker] would be a disgrace to Mr. Ledger's memory and the hard work and passion which he put into portraying the Joker. As an actor, I would want my last performance ever to be HUGE and memorable...not swept under the carpet. Let him live on through his amazing portrayl of the Joker [among other characters] and our memory of a great actor.

I agree rin, and great first post.
