Will he die? villians deaths in movies

I don't like it when the bad guy dies in the movie but I understand the reasoning.
You wouldn't want the bad guy in Die Hard to live. The bad guy does horrible stuff, like the Joker in the original Batman. The audiance needs closer and to see the bad guy in the movie get punished, and get whats coming to him or her. Not to be arrested and put in prison for later use, the majority of the audiance wouldn't be satified (I'm talking about the non-comic readers)

Plus it takes away the need for the actor in the next movie or future movies, unless the actor is signed on for more movies from the get go.

Characters who die in the comics can die in movies, but killing off guys like Joker, Ock, and Venom is lame. Look at X-men, they finished the whole trillogy without killing off Magneto. Thats the way to go.
