Sequels Will Hela Appear Again?

Asgardians aren't immortal, I recall Loki saying something along the lines of their lifespan being around 5000 years in TDW, but I imagine super powerful, royal Asgardians like Odin, Hela and Thor maybe live even longer than a normal Asgardian. And like SPO2 Dalisay said, they clearly age but just very, very slowly. Odin looked significantly older than Hela, and Hela in turn definitely looked older than Thor.

I don't think Cate meant immortal as in literally, I think she just means that they may as well be immortal in comparison to humans and our tiny lifespans.
she might be an exception though.

hm I think Hela is immortal in the comics.

Goddess of Death to die of old age...

Think if taika came back for thor 4 then we could see her back. Thor journeying to hel. Bring back 3 of his freinds and some other asgardians maybe.

Get that Disney money, girl! :cwink:

Seriously though, it's not like Cate is desperate for roles or money (she's been in the top 10 highest paid actresses in the world for years), the only real reason she would return is if she enjoyed herself, and from the Ragnarok bloopers and BTS, it looks like she had an absolute ball playing Hela. :D

Yeah I feel like everyone wants cate to wax on about the last season of the New York opera or whatever but truly cate would be happier down in the kitchen sneaking a smoke and b**ching about the boss

Well, there's the fact that we still don't know who MCU Hela's mother is. We know that she's definitely not Frigga, because Thor called Hela his 'half-sister' in IW, so for all we know Hela's mother might not even be an Asgardian, but something even more powerful. That would explain why Hela seems to be much more powerful than Thor. Maybe her mother is an Elder God (like Thor's is in the comics), or maybe she's even Mistress Death herself. Hela would definitely be immortal if she's half cosmic entity. :cwink:

Really hoping it's porn.

That would be the classiest damn porn ever. The first porn to ever win an Academy Award.

sounds weird that Thor says "half sister".

Hopefully, she will return.

I'd love to know how he even found that out. Maybe Odin appeared to him in yet another vision. "Oh hey Thor! Btw, Hela is only your half-sister. Just thought you'd better know. Yeah, just chillin' here in Valhalla while you're having to deal with the ramifications of my shirtty parenting. Bye!"

MCU Odin is such a dick. :gibbs:

He probably just guessed it.

I don't know, bit of a specific thing to guess about. :oldrazz:

For some reason, they deliberately decided to insert that particular factoid (Hela being Thor's half-sister) into Infinity War when it was never revealed in Ragnarok where she was only called his sister. Does it have any significance? Guess we'll find out.
