We have asked before about it and the answer was NO! Malice said something along the lines of it will lag the server, but seeing as its streamed from another site and just embeded into this one (like an image) i dont see how it can

It's not worth the potential copyright issues. If pics on the forum have to occasionally be taken down, the same would happen to the video. And copyright holders seem to be much more litigious with vids than with pics.

At least with links SHH can say "We're not hosting/showing the video, just a link. If you've got a problem, take it up with them."

Only the links can be posted. We can't have something embedded. We'd have to edit templates for that.

To get YouTube videos here, you would have the strip the video out of the YouTube feed and locate it here.

Not something that will ever happen, because of the HUGE cost that would be involved.
Posting a link to a YouTube page will be the best you can do.

The next upgrade to the servers will increease cost "quite a bit"

Remember, SHH is running with 6 completely utilized servers, that we are the sole site on, and you see the lag now...imagine about that then.

Not the case. I have, right now, the HTML code I have to put in the back to install it tonight, if Mirko gave me the okay to do so. All it does is stream it from Youtube.
