Bring on the Batboat too.
Lucious is not gone...watch the movie again. I didn't catch it the first time but listen to what Lucious says. He says something to the effect of "I will not work here at Wayne Enterprises as long as that thing is in operation." Bruce replies, "Just type in your name when you're done." It is to be assumed that Lucious believed that by typing in his name that that would serve as his resignation. However, we all saw that when he typed it in, the sonar/spy computer destroyed itself. You can see Lucious smirking as he walks away when it's blowing up behind him.Lucius Fox is gone.
Bruce is going to have to modify the Lamborghini using designs from the original Batmobile. Long story short it's going to look comic-like.
we need some of our artists to come up with some redesignes of the tumbler, a little more sleek is what i want but still to have that tank like appearence....
what happened to the tumbler when it blew up, did batman just let it sit there on the street?
i think batman should get a boat or something cuz gotham city has a lot of water areas he could cruise on.
Agreed! no fins nor bat motifs! since the tumbler is inspired in a bat it would be redundant, lol... The other tumbler should be taken and have some minor changes inspired in...Yes to the tumbler coming back. No... no... NO... NOOOOO to the cheesy fins and "bat motifs". PUH-LEEZE people! Has Nolan not proven to you all that this franchise can be FULL of kickassery without spandex, bat-shaped everything, and cheese?
The tumblers were designed to work as a pair so it is very likely the other one is either in bats' possession already or can be easily. Lucius said the bridge didn't work which means they tested it with two of the vehicles.
Ban cheesy batfins! :
a really interesting design, really, some ideas could be taken from itIn Batman: Gotham Knight the "Field Test" short had an interesting hybrid of the tumbler and 89 Batmobile....
WHAT ARE YOU DENSE? ARE YOU ******ED OR SOMETHING!? THE GODDAMN BAT-BIKE!

I actually think one of the things Nolan originally had in mind for his three Batman films was to first place Batman in the real world, without all the things that on the surface seem ridiculous (Batmobile, costumed supervillains, etc), and work toward those things gradually, and have them all make sense by the end of the third film. I wouldn't be shocked if by the end of the third film we have an actual Batmobile, a fully functioning Batcave, costumed supervillains, and a Gotham straight out of the comics. If that was Nolan's plan, I applaud him for it. Instead of taking the easy way out, and just having Gotham start off with one foot firmly planted outside reality like Burton, where a Batmobile, colorful supervillains, etc. all seem perfectly normal, he decided to show how the city went from point a to point b.
