Will the Fox/Marvel relationship improve?

^ Even if the FOX/Marvel relationship were to become 100% cordial, there's zero chance of it resulting in FOX abandoning its already-established and already successful X-Verse in favor of putting X-characters into the MCU.

The one thing that I do think an improved FOX/Marvel relationship could potentially yield that would be worth it is for FOX to get the go-ahead to merge the Fantastic Four with either the "prime" X-Verse or the "Legion" X-Verse.

Why would either side want this? After FFINO FOX wants the FF far away from the X-Men, and Disney wants it's First Family characters back. I'd be very surprised if early rights reversion wasn't the cost of the X franchise expanding into TV.

Where did you get this idea from?

The bolded has already been confirmed not to have had ANYTHING whatsoever to do with whatever agreement was struck between FOX and Marvel regarding X-Men television rights.

Kinberg and company backing away the idea that the FF existed in the same reality as the X-Men post FFINO. Rupert Murdoch blaming the film for the company's performance. The FFINO cast being removed from the EW poster of FOX Marvel superheroes. The sequel being removed from the release schedule. Common sense.

And since no studio mouthpiece has ever been deceptive for business purposes, you are free to swallow the idea that Disney -DISNEY! - handed over additional IP rights to a competitor in exchange for a minority stake in " Legion" and "Hellfire". I'll remain skeptical.

I hadn't heard about any of that happening.

The sequel being removed from the release schedule.

That doesn't have anything to do with whether or not FOX has soured on the idea of connecting the Fantastic Four and X-Men universes.

FOX giving up the completely unrelated Fantastic Four rights in negotiations for X-Men television rights would be like the owner of a car selling someone said car and trying to include their neighbor's boat in the deal.

I hadn't heard about any of that happening.

After talking up a FF/X-Men crossover, the producers started to back away slowly with the FFINO disaster looming.

One of these things is not like the other.

One of these things just isn't the same.

Hey, there's no need to get the pervert in the green ranch involved. Disney owns the FF and X-Men IP. Disney controls TV rights to both properties. FOX controls the cinematic live action rights to the FF and X-Men. This is a two company deal. Easy, peasy, Lemon Squeazy.
