After all this civil war mess will there ever be a chance for another avengers? I mean, if this story shows us anything its that the heroes cant trust each other. So what would be the point to assemble another team? I think when all this mess is done, there wont be any team-ups for a looong time. What do y'all think?

Actually, were getting 2, written by the same guy.

Because everyone knows Bendis is the greatest thing to happen to comics since Stan Lee.

There will be FIVE Avengers titles after Civil War:

New Avengers by Brian Michael Bendis and Lenil Yu. The cast includes Captain America, Spider-Man, and Wolverine. The cast is not finalised.

Mighty Avengers by Brian Michael Bendis and Frank Cho. The cast includes Iron Man, Wasp, Black Widow, Ms. Marvel, Wonder Man, the Sentry, and Ares. The cast is not finalised.

Young Avengers by Alan Heinberg and Jim Cheung. The cast includes Patriot, Hawkeye, Stature, Speed, Wiccan, Hulkling and the Vision. This book will be relaunched in 2007

Marvel Adventures: The Avengers by Jeff Parker and Manuel Garcia. The cast includes Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Spider-Man, Giant-Girl, Wolverine, and Storm. This title is not in continuity.

The Ultimates 3 by Jeph Loeb and Joe Madureira. The cast includes Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Wasp, and another member (possibly Black Panther). This title is in continuity with the Ultimate Marvel Universe

Now that I think about it, the Avengers are getting as ****ed out as the X-Men and Spider-Man :(

Well, technically yes but I don't consider the rest of those real Avengers books. But that being said, Young Avengers is better than anything Bendis has done since he took over The Avengers.

Where the heck are all these teams going to be operating out of?

Marvel Adventures & Ultimates are in their own separate realities. Mighty Avengers will be on the West Coast, I believe. New Avengers remain in New York. Young Avengers--scratches head--I'm not sure.

Why does Bendis have to write both? Sheesh.
Look at it this way; it's two titles we won't have to add to our pull lists. :o

Good point. It's always nice to save money.

I highly doubt that. Hasnt it been said New Avengers will be mobile while Mighty will be based in NYC?

I thought I read that Mighty Avengers is based in NYC, New Avengers is on Westcoast and YA is mobi;le :(

But the New Avengers will have Spider-Man and Captain America, New York heroes. I imagine that both will operate in New York City.
