You know him as the Bank Manager from the prologue.. now I am a fan of the TV show Prison Break, and Fichtner plays a guy who slowly goes insane

And he does a really good job at it.. hopefully some of you have seen the show and know what Im talking about.. but I think he would make a great Villain for bb3

Whether it be Ventriloquist / Riddler or anyone

He's already played a character in that universe. How could he play another without confusing the hell out of people?

Who cares if he had a name. Riddler was never a bank manager. Neither was Penguin, or the Ventriloquist, or anyone. The point is, it'll be confusing to have both someone like the Riddler, and this Bank Manager character, played by the same actor.

Besides, Fichtner's awesome, but I dont think he particularly fits any villain role. There are better choices for any character you could think to cast him as.

they should just show him getting robbed again. that'd be pretty funny :hehe:

I don't think he's dead but we already seen him as the Bank Manager so this thread is pointless tho.

Yeah, I think the grenade was just a joke, and he didn't die

hence the following

"I believe, whatever doesnt kill you, simply makes you, stranger"

his near death experience might have created something that leads to an alter ego- being that he is currently nameless mob bank manager

That's an interesting idea you have there, One Nate Seven. I can't see him as the Ventriloquist... possibly the Riddler.

RIDDLER: "He was correct."

BATMAN: "Who was?"

RIDDLER: "The Joker. Tell me something, Batman... Do you think me... strange?"

Add this to the stupid Batfan suggestions.

He may not have been a name character but Fichtner was excellent in what little time he had in the film.

But the experience would have to be thematically relevant to whatever villian he became.

How does a near death experience at the hands of the Joker lead to an obsessive compulsion to commit riddle crimes?

Maybe he already had an obsessive compulsion for riddles... I mean we don't know much about him asides from the fact he keeps a shotgun in his office...

But any excuse to have Fichtner back is good with me. He rocks.

Well, Picard deserves a rest. By now, his face has a permanent palm print.

i dont mean to be rude, but are you braindead? He means that the bank manager would become the Riddler or whatever villain; he doesnt just mean they would be played by the same actor. the bank manager never dies, the grenade in his mouth is just a gag that blows smoke. i could definitely see him becoming the next villain, and we can already see that he is at least a little crazy because of his shotgun spree. not to mention he works for the mob, a mob that was just robbed of all of their money so now he needs to either get an honest job (unlikely) or the obvious.
and just because "Riddler was never a bank manager" doesn't mean ****, that is such a small detail considering how much the movies already change things.

That would very lame actually. You must have ****ing loved Batman Forever and the batman cartoon.

That man is already dead. The Joker killed him!

There is no way to bring him back from dead!

Fichtner is a great actor but I can't see him come back and have it make sense. His character in the Nolan Bat-franchise was as a bank manager/ mob peon. Maybe if they didn't use him in TDK then he could have turned out a good consideration for Riddler but we'll never know.
