Sequels Wish lists for the future

What would you all want for the future of this series?

-I guess I would want a couple more movies with the young cast that do well with critics and do decent business commercially.
-James and Michael to end their tenures on a high note
-Tye Sheridan to do justice to Cyclops
-Sophie Turner to get a chance to shine as Jean Grey.
-End the prequels on a high note

Since my post was closed for some unexplained reason, I'll say it here...

What do I want for the future of the X-Men series?

Reboot with Kinberg and Singer NOT involved! Start over with the original five members, go for three movies and then branch them off into X-Factor while the X-Men team becomes the Giant-Sized group that many of us love.

And do all of this in the present (Deadpool) timeline with no more stupid decade jumping!

2019: New X Men movie (Shiar empire or Proteus) and Gambit
2020: X Force and All New X Men

Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty for the next X-Men movie

This basically. There's nothing holding them back anymore besides their own creativity at this point.

If they stay in the past, and I know supposedly the next Wolverine film is Hugh's last, but I wouldn't mind if Fox pulled an X-Men Evolution and had Wolverine as the trainer/instructor/mentor to the younger X-Men.

ETA: Haven't been keeping up with a lot of what's to come.

Get back to "transcending the genre"
Do away with the 3 trailer approach wherein the tone progressively changes. Increase the output of the more creative ads.

X-Men in the present; Cyclops, Storm, Phoenix, Rogue, Psylocke, Shadowcat, Iceman, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Colossus and Beast. Maybe an adult version of Angel. Maybe I would split them up into two teams.
-No more Xavier and Logan after Logan the movie.
-No more Mystique, Stryker and Magneto.
-X-Factor. Government affiliated group featuring Polaris, Strong Guy, Multiple Man, M and Forge. This would be like the Shield or Kingsman of X-Men.
-X-Force. Cable, Domino, Shatter star, X-23 and one more mutant maybe Marrow. Stryfe as the big bad.
-New Mutants. Basically the classic line up with Cyclops as the mentor. Then the other veteran X-Men would also have their own mutants squads. But those other squads are mostly in the background.
-Then Deadpool 3.
-A massive and epic ultimate cross over featuring all 4 teams.

If New Mutants turn out to be a hit,I want them to have a cross over movie with the X-Force!

Also upon seeing Logan,I don't want to see X-23 in X-Force anymore! I'd rather see Rictor (new version) .

Not if it's written, acted, directed and executed properly.

He could be doing tests on Jean to see what's happening, and the occasional famous quote would be fine. No one is expecting him to recite Shakespeare all over the place.

There needs to be more to beast then just looking into microscopes, otherwise there really would be something to complain about.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'fixed image', but the characters will need to be investigating Jean's power levels. In the comics, Moira MacTaggert did tests on Jean; if that happens on screen, then Beast would be the obvious one to do it. He was looking at Mystique's blood in First Class, so it's not as if he's never peered down a microscope before.

They have to include the key traits of these characters, without going overboard. Next you'll be saying Phoenix having a phoenix fire effect is a caricature.

As for things that have been done too much, I'd like to see more from Storm than lightning bolts - that IS starting to become a caricature. There's far more to weather control than lightning.

I agree this is what I want as well as fresh blood on the franchise, someone who can give us fresh ideas. Oh yea and I want Storm to have her signature blue eyes.

I actually like this idea as well though I feel with so many different spin offs taking place that a reboot is sadly not happening. I do love your idea and think it could really work.
