Decided to spoil out the name for those who haven’t watched the pilot yet, but my theory (for the time being) regarding Captain Luthor is that he’s a spin on the Lex Luthor of Earth-3. Maybe with a mix of the Alexander Luthor we got in Infinite Crisis.

I don't know. We’ll see.

I think I even read a quote from the actor a few days ago saying something to the effect of “Every villain is the hero of their own story” which is almost too perfect a foreshadowing for Earth-3’s Luthor.

Maybe this Luthor is a survivor from the pocket universe Earth where General Zod killed everybody. That could set a man on a crusade against "super" beings.

I saw some review for ep2 say theres a kind of twist/reveal in there that sets him up.Im expecting some kind of reveal like you are saying yea.Would be interesting if hes not a completely villainous character.

That would make sense. I completely forgot he said something to Superman about his planet getting destroyed too.

You most certainly should! Lol. I love Infinite Crisis. It definitely is my favorite crisis story and one of my all time favorite comics stories.

I'm bored of Lex Luthor, but it would be good for him and Superman to eventually cross paths as they don't even seem to know each other. At the moment he seems purely like a Supergirl villain.
