Hmmm not a bad choice, but it might feel repetitive especially he appeared in Iron Man 2 as a Russian villain.

True, I just mentioned him because he's a great actor, does menacing really well, and can do a somewhat convincing Russian accent. Since the Japanese actors and actresses in TW have been getting a lot of praise, and they're mostly unknown in the US, it might be cool if you have a bunch of unknown Russian and Eastern European actors/actresses in a third film. Logan and Yukio would be the only familiar faces.

Yeah sometimes getting unknown actors is a good thing, because the studio doesn't have to pay them that much, those unknown actors wouldn't demand for more money even if they are asked to return for a second film.

Exactly this, of TW proved one thing is that you dont always need to go to big name stars to get great performances. Of course you do have to have the talent to spot these newcomers which I guess isnt easy.

Tom Hardy was able to play a menacing Bane despite his size. It's not the height, it's the physicality and menace that is really important.

If it was going to happen I'd rather it was set in Madripoor. Not least because it's a major part of Wolverine lore that's not been exploited yet. It provides great supporting characters like Tyger Tiger and Karma as well as great antagonists both human (Roche, General Coy, Prince Baran etc) and super-human (Roughouse, Bloodscream, Sapphire Styx, Cyber, etc). An adaptation of the Save the Tiger or Blood Hungry arcs could work well. It definitely offers a lot of material for a potential film plus Jackman would look cool as Wolverine with an eye-patch.

Liev isn't short, but too short for Sabretooth. He could play Victor before second mutation, but would look ridiculous as Sabretooth near Jackman.

Liev and Jackman look physically similar in Origins, I had no problem buying him as a threat.

I would like to see how origins Sabretooth turned to X1 Sabretooth in a First Class film.

You see Victor become more and more violent and animalistic as Origins goes on. I kind of just assumed that his mind was regressing and by the time of X1, it had regressed to the point that he was more animal than man. Stryker experimenting on him is another possibility, as is Magneto testing his evolution machine.

Kevin Durand would make an awesome OR and he and Jackman have worked together twice before. I know Durand was in Origins but I doubt many remember him in it and as OR he would be under make-up/prosthetics.

Considering he would be under a lot of make and/or prosthetics, and have a totally different accent and character, I dont see what the problem would be for him being cast as OR.

Indeed, I think he perfect for the role and would love to see it happen. Though if The Strain series runs to its end (and I hope it does, loved the books), he may not have the time.

Once again, why not let Wolverine go through his spin-offs while the main team can go on their oun adventures without Logan stealing the spotlight?
