In the Cyclops mini series he used a sword against a monster with his eyes covered, he lost the sword fast, so he doesnt know how to use one, it didnt matter, he killed the monster anyway. Does the optic blast destroys adamantium??? , in "the age of apocalypse" it does, so he really doesnt need the sword to kill Wolverine

Yeah but now that Wolverine was able to regenerate from being burned into a freaking skeleton by Nitro in a matter of minutes, Cyck would probably need the sword.

wolvie told him to use it if he comes back brainwashed, so why would he stand around for cyke to kill? and cyke is nowhere in logans combat league. also cyke would try to talk logan back into his memmory and logan would gut him in the process. this is of course if they are at odds logan wouldnt just kill scott for no reason

BTW - if you love Cyke, and hate Wolvie - it might interest you to know that in the current Wolverine Origins series, Logan just gave Cyclops the only weapon that can kill him...and told him to use it when the time comes...so maybe you'll get to see some paybacks...

No, the optic blast cannot destroy adamantium. In the AOA Cyclops didn't destroy Wolverine's hand, he just blew it off his arm bones, which should be completely impossible since the strongest beings in the Marvel Universe constantly try and fail to rip Wolverine's arms, legs, head, etc, off and can't manage to do squat. Bah, it was an alternate reality anyway, that's the only reason they allowed it.

I really doubt Cyclops could manage to "kill" Wolverine. The guy healed from a skeleton in 3 pages. That's easily a Hulk level healing feat. For all intensive purposes Wolverine is unkillable.

It is, but you can expect it to be a Wolverine cartoon, with the X-Men dropping in every now and then. The storylines will all be Wolverine's. Th X-Men will probably just cross paths with him every now and then.

I suppose we should be thankful that we'll at least get to see some of the X-Men, even if it is only as an add on to Wolverine's glory.

I read this somewhere else as well. The X-Men will be featured prominently, just with Wolverine as the leader (which has nearly happened many times in the X-Men history anyway) and the main attraction.

Evolution was okay but, it didn't look as good as the 90's show, and now that FF cartoon comin' out is all corny looking.

If only Bruce Timm would do some Marvel, something that looks like the early years of Batman TAS.

Sure it had a cartoony look but there was more to it than that, it had a good style.

Wolverine is NOT unkillable. Xavier said of the Wolve/Sabretooth feud that it would only end with one of them killing the other, though he wasn't sure who. The old Wolvie wasn't unbeatable and he was wayyyy cooler than the one who heals from a skeleton and pushes bullets out of his forehead. That's like Superman/Hulk league there... and Wolvie is not an all powerful being. Make him one, and it completely destroys his underdog appeal.

yeah but it's always been decided that he wasn't a good leader. Every year I get more and more sick of having Wolverine pushed into the spotlight and/or down the fans' throats.

Incorrect. Cyclops was able to blow off Wolverine's hand in AOA becouse Logan's joints werent laced with Adamantium. Nothing can break Adamantium except Antarctic Vibranium, or precise molecular rearangment.

And no your wrong. In Origins #5 Cyclops shot his Optic Blast 2 times at Wolverine at point blank range and Wolverine dodged it easily and could have killed him but he handed him the sword instead.
