Yeah The Happening or X-Files are good bets. X-Files debuts the same week as the San Diego Comic Con btw. It's possible to get a teaser trailer out as early as this June for The Happening.

The writers just pick which actors they want to add. Probably the actors they're most familiar with. It's no indication of the actual role sizes in the film.
Nice to know Hugh is up for more films. Guess if Wolverine is a big success, we'll see a sequel.
Well I'd love for them to explore Japan as a sequal, so I'm glad Huge is up for more. I just couldn't see any one else for the part. I hope this one does well.
Edit;
If we get a preview of it soon I'd be happy. At least a clip or some thing I'm dieing to see some thing of it. Too bad we have to wait till May 2009 to see the film though =[

"WOLVERINE" is good, I'm in Sydney until at least the end of May 2008...
I'm pretty sure this is one of the water taxis that the production use to ferry crew across the harbour; poor buggers must've been returning from last night's work...
On the work front - I'm recording 2nd Unit for the next two weeks.
Still unsure of my finish-date, as it all depends on whether Ill be re-joining the main-unit (when it down-sizes into 2nd Unit its all a little confusing to explain); or moving onto another project.
Either way its unlikely that Ill be back in Brisbane before June.
In film, the second unit is a team that shoots footage which is of lesser importance for the final motion picture, as opposed to the first unit, which shoots all scenes involving actors, or at least the stars of the film. Second unit footage typically includes shots like scenery, close-ups of objects and other inserts or cutaways.
The second unit has its own director and cinematographer. The director leads the second unit, and is often responsible for minor shots, such as establishing shots. The advantage of the second unit is that the first unit director and the lead actors, who are expensive, do not have to be present and can shoot at the same time, or, in the case of actors, leave the production earlier. Sometimes, the second unit also films close-ups of body parts. In this case, a body double takes the place of the normal actor.
Can't be too much more to go - I think the report always was sometime in June.So there almost done filming than?
Jackman back to the Big Apple

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness are planning to move the family to New York after X-Men Origins: Wolverine wraps in June.
We've loved having the A-listers home and their class and down-to-earth attitude will be sorely missed. Australia's loss is America's gain.
Last week Furness jumped on a plane with seven-year-old Oscar to spend two weeks in the Big Apple looking for schools.
She told S that it is a difficult process over there, with IQ tests for her son and gruelling rounds of interviews for the parents.
Somewhat unlike Sydney, where Oscar chose his school because it had a great art department and the chicks were cute (sounds like Oscar is developing his dad's way with the ladies).
Furness said that, though she will miss Sydney, a big part of her heart is in New York and she's excited about going back to see her girlfriends and visiting her old stomping grounds.
Jackman is halfway through shooting the latest Wolverine flick and is really enjoying his fourth time putting the claws on.
But even superheroes can't beat a dodgy prawn: Jackman got a mild case of food poisoning which halted film production for a day. The film is due to wrap in June but Jackman might stay a little longer for Australian publicity commitments.
We'll take every day we can get!

Australia as Gone With The Wind

BAZ Luhrmann has described his $100 million plus film Australia as an epic romance, but until now all we have seen are images of sweaty, khaki-clad actors, usually on horseback, and often eating dust.
Now The Daily Telegraph can reveal Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman scrub up very nicely - in a red cheongsam and handsome white suit respectively - for their clincher kiss.
Australia has been described as an Antipodean Gone with the Wind, and the Kidman/Jackman smooch is evocative of the Clark Gable/Vivien Leigh clinch in the cinema classic.
See that picture here.
Jackman has yet to view any footage of his performance - with the exception of the 12-minute reel Luhrmann showed to a very select few.

"It's not quite at the stage for us to see it," said Jackman, whose next project, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, finished shooting on Cockatoo Island on Friday night.
"But my ear is close to the ground and I'm hearing positive things."
Jackman, who plays the drover to Kidman's aristocrat, speaks enthusiastically about the nine-month shoot in Outback Australia: "I don't think I've ever been involved in something with such energy and passion."
Been a while since i've heard him say anything Marvel movies. Thanks for posting that.http://www.iesb.net/index.php?option=com_seyret&Itemid=227&task=videodirectlink&id=1002
Avi Arad provides an update on the film. Albeit a small one.
It's supposed to have a "gritty, Dirty Harry" feel.

Going on the set of Wolverine today
I'm just getting organised to go on the set of Wolverine this afternoon. I've been asked to do some stories for an overseas publication and that's why I'll be spending most of the afternoon and evening on Cockatoo Island in Sydney where the production of the film is.
All I know is that it can be pretty damn cold on Sydney Harbour, especially at night. I've been told: "Wear flat shoes and bring a warm coat as the shoot is expected to go late into the night."
As a freelance writer, I've been lucky enough to interview lots of celebrities - everyone from Jon Bon Jovi and Britney Spears to Will Smith and Kylie Minogue. Because I also write about business, I also interview CEOs and interesting entrepreneurs. So people often ask me which celebrity has been my favourite interview.
The thing with celebrities is that they are just normal people - sometimes really nice, sometimes with huge egos, sometimes adorable and sometimes total morons. (One piano-playing Australian musician who lives in Newtown comes to mind as the latter.)
As far as my favourites go, I interviewed world champion surfer Tom Carroll a while ago. No ego, just a down-to-earth guy who was helpful, interesting and informative. Interviewing Jon Bon Jovi (maybe I'm secretly a bogan) was a teenage dream come true. And more recently, US tech-guru Leo Laporte has been an absolute highlight. SO interesting - and so nice!
Anyhow, must get rugged up for the chilly film set. I'll let you know if I see Hugh Jackman with his shirt off!
