Wolverine Origins Sequel

We get to see him dig a bullet out of his mind.

Toilet sink scene part 2

I didn't have a problem with most of the cameos. If Stryker is imprisoning mutants, it doesn't hurt to make them identifiable rather just some random mutant. Similarly, if he's setting up a special team.

It wasn't so good to add in Gambit simply as a way of leading Wolverine to the base. Making Emma Frost, Kayla's sister was ridiculous.

Yeah but you can still put Gambit in Japan without going off the beaten path. He knew Yukio, Logan's sorta girlfriend in that mini they are supposedly basing this on.

Any Casting ideas?
If it is in Japan, wouldn't that mean Silver Samurai, Sunfire and Mariko would be in? if Hydra's involved maybe Viper? if the hand maybe we'll get Revanche?

Well if there's going to be more mutants maybe we'll get them all. Speculation on the sequel could end up being more fun then the movie it's self. I would bet on the characters above except Viper to appear, I think even Echo would appear. And as for casting, I would like....

S. Samurai - Rick Yune
Sunfire - Sung Kang
Mariko - Koyuki

What if Matsu'o Tsurayaba uses Omega Red as an assassin to kill wolverine or he can be Matsu'o Tsurayaba personal bodyguard

Reading up about the sequel has been making my imagination run.

I was thinking maybe the movie could star off right where XMO: Wolverine ended, with Logan fleeing three mile island. He could be seen disoriented and hiding whilst the sirens and flashing police lights go past. Out of nowhere the military rush Logan with swat teams, he runs for his life, a forest chase scene. Eventually they pin Logan down and for the first time we see him genuinley scared, and like when you corner a scared animal he lashes out with incredible force. At the end of the scene the floor is littered with bodies and Logan stares at his claws in horror screaming, reminicent of the Weapon X flashback scene in X-Men 2. The sound of helicopters approaching fills the air, Gambit appears. The two stand off, both weary of eachother. Gambit explains that after the events which just transpired that it isn't safe for either of them as they're both firmly on the goverments radar. Gambit says he knows a place where they can be safe, Logan asks why he is helping him, Gambit responds with something along the lines of "I've been their prisoner before, I've seen what they're capable of and wouldn't wish that on anyone. Be thankfull that you don't remember...". Logan reluctantly agrees to go with Gambit. Gambit says "by the way, this is yours..." and throws the trusty brown leather jacket at Logan.

Logan and Gambit make their way to Japan, Logan questions Gambit about his own past and grows frustrated at how little Gambit actually knows about him. When they arrive in Japan Remy says to Logan how his friends could make use of a guy like him, and thus introduces him to Yukio. All while Logan has a daunting sense of deja vu, inside he knows that this is not his first trip to Japan.

An old man spots Logan and runs off in terror. We see him visit a slightly younger man surrounded by bodyguards, the man has three slashes across his face, the man is Shingen Yashida.

Through the course of the movie Logan would fight off a horde of ninjas, and the Silver Samurai would relentlessly pursue Logan whilst trying to win over the love of the father that resents him so.

Gambit, torn between the Yashida gang and Logan eventually betrays them both for the sake of something of value, possibly on a secret mission from the thieves guild.

At the end of the film Logan breaks into the Yashida hideout in the middle of the night to confront Shingen, instead he is confronted by Mariko, he grabs her by the throat, she mutters "Logan-san..." and strokes his face. He lets go of her and they talk, Logan explains how he remembers nothing. Mariko is ecstatic to be reunited with her long lost and forbidden love, then opens a floorboard on her bedroom floor where she has a box of momentos. We see a brief flashback of Logan working as a head muscleman for the Yashida gang, he drinks excessivley and uses brute force against whoever he's instructed to. Shingen treats him like his own son, he is introduced to Mariko and stunned by her beauty, the pair fall in love. Silver Samurai grows an intense hate for Logan, not only has he stolen his fathers love but also the love of his sister.

Through Mariko and his love for eachother Logan changes his ways, she makes him want to be a better man. Knowing that Shingen will never allow them to be together if Logan was to no longer work for him, the pair decide to run away together. Shingen learns of the plan and challenges Logan to a sword fight. Shingen bests Logan, and out of anger and frustration Logan pops his claws and slashes Shingen's face. Mariko turns her back on Logan in disgust, Logan leaves after having shamed his honour.

We return to the present with Logan and Mariko, at the bottom of the box of momentos is a black and white photo of Logan and Mariko in wedding attire reminicent of the art from the final page of the Claremont and Miller run. Logan is speechless. Before anything else is said more ninjas attack.

The finale would involve Shingen and Mariko watching on as the Silver Samurai and Logan face off. Logan doesn't want to kill the Samurai for Mariko's sake, but the Samurai attacks Logan showing no mercy. Charging his sword he furiously swimpes away, Logan blocks and evades his attacks whilst some wooden support beams are destroyed, a fire breaks out. Logan eventually cuts off Samurai's hand, he drops to his knees screaming. Shingen remarks at how his son is a constant dissapointment, and that he has no choice but to take care of Logan himself.

Shingen approaches Logan sword in hand, Logan retracts his claws and picks up Silver Samurai's sword. The pair face off whilst the building around them burns. Throughout the fight Logan is badly beaten, eventually Logan gets the upper hand and has Shingen at his mercy, instead he drops the sword. He walks to Mariko and they kiss, we hear the sound of a sword thrust, they both open their eyes and gasp. The samurai has thrusted a sword through them both. Mariko raises her hand and strokes Logan's face again, she falls and her other hand opens revealing the photograph previously mentioned. The Silver Samurai screams at his sister's body with tears in his eyes, asking how she could ever love Logan after all the shame he has brought to their family.

Logan falls to his knees, he turns his head to the Samurai baring his teeth then lets out a huge cry as he removes the sword from his stomach and throws it aside. He staggers to his feet and growls. He sprints at the Samurai, this time the Samurai is the one on the defense trying desperatley to evade Logan's attacks. Logan toys and mocks the Samurai, Shingen joins in the battle and Logan has to fight them both as the building around them crumbles. Shingen inadvertadley stabs the Samurai through the heart, the fight ends with Logan shoving his claws through Shingen's stomach and lifting him into the air.

Logan returns to Mariko's body and a flaming wooden beam falls on him. He is mere inches away from her, he reaches for her hand with the photograph in it, fire creeps closer and closer to the photograph, the corner catches alight and Logan screams "noo!" whilst desperatley reaching for it. The ceiling collapses, the screen goes black.

Startling daylight and there's a close up of Logan's eye opening. He pulls himself out of the burnt cinder and rubble, a fire crew stand there at the scene in disbelief at what they've just seen. Logan walks away, collapses into an alley with grief. He pauses for a second, then looks at his dogtags. He runs his finger over the word 'Canadian' or whatever link it has to Canada on them, clutches the dogtags and with the look of determination stands up and walks into the distance.

Logan has grown too invincible, so maybe Shingen could have a sword made of Carbonadium or something, to disable Logan's healing factor. He could of had it in preparation in case Logan ever returned.

Other mutant cameos could include Sunfire and an actual Psylocke (I reffuse to consider the purple haired chick in X3 Psylocke).

Throught the film I'd like to see Logan fighting ninja's across rooftops, and a bike chase at night through the neon draped streets.

Apologies for the very long post, my imagination got the best of me there!

After the last one was average and X3 was atrocious, I just cant get excited about this, not sure when they will release it anyway, but a huge improvement over the las 2 movies is needed to get me to see this.

Agreed! X-3 KILLED it!:csad: A good Writer for the Wolverine-Japan saga is not enough...they need a good Director as well...and to keep Tom Rothman as far away from it as possible!:cmad:

I think there's definitely a way to sneak Gambit into the scene. Gambit's a thief, sneaky and cunning. He would be able to worm his way in. Yes, I'm a Gambit fan, and maybe he doesn't have any real business, but hey, he can be everywhere and he's been to Japan before. Or was it China? I think he even speaks Japanese (or Chinese) in his own mini series. :D

seeing how "Origins" kept referencing X1 and 2, i feel "Origins 2" will do it even MORE... since it gets closer to the Singer films (which for most fans are great movies)

I really hope FOX dont go and invest in ANOTHER Wolverine movie because 5 about him is more than enough.

I wonder how they will show Wolverine go to Japan, i hope its by airport and he beeps through the Metal detector

Ah... he will probably walk there or something.... and gambit will follow him 8)

how do you walk to Japan? :oldrazz:

anyway, I can see him making his way to the docks, and sneaking abarod a cargo ship or something

Omega Red is not from Russia or Sovietic Union?
I don't think is gonna be kool. But, however, the famous villain from Japan Sucks. Im talking about Silver Samurai. I was watching the new series Wolverine and the X-Men and they present in here the best way to put Silver Samurai on screen and still sucks. Nothing like Sabretooth or deadpool.

And my second thaugh is more like a question. Im confuse about something. In X-men United, Brian "franchise killer" Singer put Yuriko with power like wolverine, (that by the way i think it was kind of cool but at the same time out of topic). Now this is my question. She is suppose to be Yuriko, the daugther of the Doctor who make possible Weapon X project right? So who is Mariko???

I loved the Origin of Wolverine, I even loved the Japanese Series of Batman: Gotham Knight cause you can is ok with the new Batman Stories. I even accept the Iron Man Anime and a little (not much) the Deadpool Spin-off.

But this is gonna be a dissaster. By the way, I read that Woverine Origins II is gonna be obviously in Japan like the story goes. So What this suppose to be?

She is the Yasida Crime bosses Daughter, and eventually the Clan boss. She is Silver Samurai's half sister and Sunfire's Cousin. She is also one of, if not the biggest of Wolvies loves. She also has a daughter Amiko, that Wolverine adopts/takes care of in the comics.
I think I got that right.

Except Amiko wasn't Yukio's daughter, Wolverine 'adopted' her after her mother was killed and ended up leaving her with Yukio.

And Yukio was sort of the rebound girlfriend after he lost the fight with Mariko's father. She was too crazy even for him for things to go further than that.

wait.....I thought Yukio was a thief who later became Wolverine's friend and sometime lover....and who takes care of Amiko......

Yuriko is Deathstrike I believe......

I don't believe Amiko was Deathstrike's daughter......

Whoa whou....hold on a minute. Now im really confuse. If thats the real story or the new story of Deathstrike, Who is the lady deathstrike in the X-men 1994 series?

LEt me refresh your mind a little:
a) Lady Deathstike (X-men 1994 cartoons) = She was Yuriko and she made both cyborn prothesis arms. And she is the daughter of the Dr who made the Weapon X project.

b) Lady Deathstrike (Hulk vs.) = she is a cyborn again but she kills the doctor like it was nothing for her. I asume in this version I guess he is not her father.

c) Lady Deathstrike (X-men united) = the coolest version, but the worst story. She is a mutant without any ex-love bond with Jimmy, uppps hahahaha sorry Logan.

Which is the real story? Is there any other version that i miss?

Couldnt agree with you more, Rothman can **** off and they need to get a good director and let him do his best, I still dont understand why they got Hood, primarily a dramatic director to direct a movie with very little drama.

If this is true this would get me excited but I cant see it.

That MTV article was stupid. Superman has to start production by 2011 so they said that Singer couldn't do it because of Galactica but could do a Wolverine movie that hits theaters in 2012. Are they that stupid? Superman could begin production in 2011 for a 2012 theater release. Well...if Wolverine is released in 2012, that would mean that production for it would start in 2011 as well. MTV is run by idiots.

The only thing that they got right was that he might return due to McQuarrie writing and chances are that WB won't ask Singer to return to Superman anyways.
