I will make it known once more. WoW is a putrescent, utterly boring piece of crap.

5 Million people aren't "******ed." The game rocks, yes I'm sure there are some immature people on it...but that's MMO's...and online in general. The Kingpin said:My brother is selling his account for $250, two lvl 60s and my lvl 51. His characters have a lot of good items too.

Hell, these boards alone are FULL of immature people.
If you hate WoW...don't post in WoW threads. Your not going to change anyone's opinion on it. I'll play WoW over any other MMO any day of the week.
Extromaniac said:Actually, no. I hate WoW because it's nothing but an eternal PvE grind with PvP tacked on. How is this fun? Tell me how it is fun wasting your life grinding for some epic items that take no skill to use in PvP? I believe 5 million people are ******ed, all of them just decided to migrate over to WoW.
I'm sorry that I have an opinion, being of which that WoW is the piece of crap that made many, many of it's subscribers leave once they hit endgame. Sorry that I disagree with your Blizz fanboyism. I suppose while you'll be grinding the eternal grind of death over with your precious WoW, I'll be playing games that are actually fun.![]()

Though I wish we'd get WarCraft 4.
,but anway, the best part of those games was the campaigns. Drakon said:What? Everyone afraid of my big post?

Speaking of WoW, I'd love a class where you can make your own golems with different elemental items. Call it an "Artificer" and it'd play simular in nature to the golem necros of Diablo 2, Hunters and Shamans. You'd level up to get different "Dolls", which would allow you to use certain elements after you do the quests to achieve said quests. Level 10 could use Fire elements, combined with maybe white items to make your Golem, which you could keep even after it died. As your level progresses, and you get more dolls, you'd be able to use better base items to make your golems. Whatever element you make, you'd need those essense items, but whatever piece of equipment you give would affect the stats of your golem [simular to the Iron Golem in Diablo 2--More on this later].
Creating your golem would be fun, too. As I stated above, you'd end up getting more dolls as you leveled, so that by 20, you'd have all your dolls and could really start experimenting with artificing. You'd have to use an elemental item [for the moment, let's just say Essesences]. You'd need a Fire Essense and a white item to make a Fire Golem. How good your Golem is would depend on what class the item you use to make him is. Obviously, an Epic Fire Golem would be better than, say, a Magicial Fire Golem. And the stats of your golem would be influenced by the item you used. If you used armour or a shield, his defense would be higher, but at the cost of attacks. A dagger would cause their physicial attacks to be weaker and faster than, say, a two handed axe. And any plus-to-stats would actually go towards the golem's stats. [As you level up your golem tree, you'd be able to increase their base stats considerably].
You'd train your Golems in simular manner to how hunters train their pets, and each golem would learn different things, depending on their element. Fire golems would be more based around attacking, Earth would be buffing and such, Water would be healing, and Air would be debuffing enemies. And, since they are all based off the doll, anything you train your Magicial Water Golem to do, once you upgrade, your Epic Water Golem would be able to learn it, if you so chose.
The Artificer talent trees would be something simular to a cross between Necro and Druid from Diablo 2. You'd have one tree that would be dedicated to improving your golems, with skills to do anything from improve their health, damage, mana, range, or defense, as well as boost some of the "across-the-board" skills that they'd no doubt have. The second tree would be dedicated to Melee, with a few physicial attack improvements, and a third would be dedicated to Ranged [which would go either Wands or Bows, depending if you wanted to be Magic-Specced, or Melee-Specced].
I'd also like a hand-to-hand class, but that's a story for another time.

Wolfwood said:I like the golem idea, I've always been a fan of pet classes. Might be awhile though before they introduce a new class, considering how they're still trying to balance out the current ones.
Oh and hand to hand class= Panda Monks. I still want my panda damnit.![]()
Mysteruous Poster said:Hey bud. I read the game forums everyday and noticed your WoW SS's. I have been looking for a good UI but really haven't found anything. Nurfed is super outdated, Cosmos is alright, Insomniax had about 2342324342 addons with it and I'm just kind of confused about alot of stuff. I really don't want to have addons I don't need ( I will be playing a rogue ).
I have the Rogue specific addons I should be using bookmarked, but I really liked the rest of your setup. The windows especially for group and whatnot looked very nice and clean. If possible I would move the location of the action keys and maybe the group bar so it doesn't scroll across the screen, add the Titan bar to the bottom and maybe a few other things. Other then that I thing everything looks great. If you could give me some tips/recommendations for your UI if it works/will work in 1.12 I would really appreciate it. Thanks a bunch!

Mixairian said:This was a PM but I figure I'll be getting a lot of PM's from folks. So what I'll do is list all the mods I'm using and what they do.... Correction, I'll list all my visible mods.
My unit frames are by Perl. Perl has a very nice package for Unit Frames, very clean and efficient and a lot of options for setup. You can't see it in this screen shot but I can set it up so I can see my party members targets without selecting them.
Perl Classic Unit Frames

As you can see in two different screen shots, my action bars are in two seperate locations. You'll also notice things like my bag bar and a few other things are missing. For this I use CTBarMod and CTBottomBar. They all can be found at
www.ctmod.net
They have a lot of other useful mods but the only other one I suggest definately having is CTRaidAssist.
CTMOD
www.ctmod.net
There are better action bar mods out there but I'm fond of CT's.
My minimap is is square and shows more and fits neatly in my corner. I like it this way.
Square Mini Map

The best mod that you really don't see here is my MoveAnything mod. you can move and resize ANYTHING on your screen. In one of my screen shots I made my map larger in another I shrunk my KTHL threat meters.
MoveAnything

There are a lot of mods I use, I'm a big fan of mod usage. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Also if yo have suggestions, I'm more than willing to listen.
