Worst/Hated use of CGI in movies

I know this movie hasn't been released yet and this might get fixed later but it just stood out far to clearly in the HD trailer for me not to mention it.

The scene in the G.I Joe trailer when Marlon Wayans breaks through the train. Take a look at his face. :hehe:

That exact same picture of his face is used throughout the entire "going through the train" sequence. Just found it pretty hilarious.

Let's be fair here; this is somethign that no one will catch. it's not that obvious.

I know what scene you're talking about. That little thing bugged me too :hehe:

Wait..in the first pic, is that CGI too? for no reason? just him standing there?

I remember in Spider-Man 2, there was two bad shots: when Doc Ock was carrying Mary Jane away after the coffee shop attack. And when Spidey was on the crane at the end, and swings away after dropping Mary Jane off with her BF.

Wolverine. Pretty much the worst CGI I've ever seen in a big summer blockbuster for its time.

The "vampires" from I Am Legend.

Malebogia in Spawn

The leopards in Hidalgo

10,000 BC

Indiana Jones and the Crystal skull. The monkey scene

The wolves from Day After Tomorrow

Beerfest. CGI beer

Resident Evil

The Covenant

:wow: Do tell.

Matrix (I don't know which one), when Neo is fighting the Agent Smiths and spinning around with the pole.

that's terrible.. I thought I was watching some videogame cut-scene from the 90s..

omg. the new Scooby looks better and that's from the new DVD movie!

Davy Jones. The real one doesn't have that many tentacles. And what was up with those textures? A real squid man would have more bumps than that.

Arraghh! Stop with the Scooby ****! They both are bad CGI...

Anyway....

X-3 Young faces. Those thing scare me. They look so unnatural and odd, it creeps me out.

Superman in SR. The shots were so apparently fake and seemed unnecessary.

Van helsing which is nothing but a bad video game, all of the mummy returns, and parts of spider-man 3. Oh, and Wolverine's claws in x-men origins.

I was surprised to find out (in this forum, by the way) that they made some CGI of Superman flying

I don't know how someone would concider that bad CGI. Of course its not perfect but this came out in 2003 and it is VERY hard to make a photorealistic CG human face.

If you can notice most of "The best CGI" today are CGI of inhuman charecters: ala transformers, king kong, gollum from LOTR, etc

yeah, they still can't make believable human beings

Even Avatar will give you a feel of 'Uncanny Valley'
Mark my words... image metrics ain't all that advanced...
