Worst marvel film so far...

What's your pick? Mine is FF: Rise of The Silver Surfer. Too short, not enough cool battle scenes, Doctor Doom is still boring and forgettable, Sue is still just a generic hotty in a jumpsuit, and a Nimbus cloud for Galactus.

I think it's almost a given that Elektra is considered bad... so much so that people probably don't even bother to vote for it because they think it's common knowledge.

Sorry forgot Man-Thing; though even that wouldn't change my vote. Man-Thing would be a 1/5. FF:ROTSS is like a 0.5/5. It makes Superman: The Quest for Peace look like a masterpiece.

It's either Ghost Rider or X-men 3 for me. Never seen Elektra. Which is odd b/c usually I flock to see ANY move based on a comic no matter how bad it is.

You know what's sad? Pretty much all the options in this poll deserve to be there. The list of recent, crappy Marvel movies is quite long.

That really goes for comic book movies in general...if your name isn't Spider-Man, X-Men, Superman or Batman, 9 times out of 10 your movie is going to suck. The four franchises I listed only suck 1/3rd of the time.

Elektra is the obvious choice but I think that's too easy because I'm not sure what the point was in making that movie in the first place. Of all the Marvel heroes who don't have big budget movies... Captain America, Cable, Thor, Silver Surfer, etc.... and they go with Elektra?

As far as big name heroes who received their own movie, I probably pick The Punisher. It wasn't as bad as the Dolph Lundren version, but it was very forgettable. I mean, come on, I just saw the new Kevin Bacon vigilante film and it was a great flick. I've seen a lot of great vigilante films. How the heck can you screw up The Punisher? It just begs for a terrific mentally intensive action fest.

I didnt think elektra was THAT bad, it was pretty crap but not the worst IMO

Out of that list, ill say Hulk, too long, too boring, not enough action

I haven't seen Punisher, it just didn't grab me....

Elektra was pretty weak, more of a TV movie. Cool villains though, would love to see more of them!

Ghost Rider irritated me. But then I can't imagine a movie about a spectral biker with a flaming skull would ever be a piece of filmic artistry to rival Titanic or Schindler's List.

Singer's approach to superhero movies is probably best so far, even though I think SR was somewhat self-indulgent with Singer given too much time, money and freedom and becoming blind to the movie's flaws.

I'd love to see Bryan back on X-movies. His Sentinels and other unseen ideas sounded top-notch. If they got Spielberg as executive producer (as on TF) it would ensure the action was fantastic and the budget well-used to maximum effect.
