Most powerful Marvel character we have seen on screen so far?

ha, of course we know movie hulk can heal faster than wolverine...

wolverine was unconcious tHREE/four TIMES in the first film

sabretooth with tree
rogue absorbing twice
magneto in the train

he was knocked out at least once in x2 by a bullet to the head

In x-3 he was also knocked out by magneto tossing him.

Hulk's taken bigger hits than that and hasn't really been seen out cold or really slown down in any shape or form.

Didn't it take an explosion to even cut him? And then that healed up immediately. He didn't even notice he was hurt.

Yeah, when the army shot out those bombs on Hulk after he escaped the facility, he rolled down a hill of sand, and shrugged off the explosion. He had one or two cuts, and they healed up faster than Wolvie in X3.

wolverines healing factor jumped massivly in X3 by the end of it though. it was terrible

durability and healing factor are 2 different things... just like power and strength are... why is it people always get those confused?

healing factor is how fast you heal when injured. Hulk was never severely injured in the movie... he never had things in him, and rarely even cut. because he's alot harder to cut... but if you could... slice him in half and stick the 2 pieces together and just see how fast he healed... that would be healing factor. Hulk has massive durability where Wolverine doesnt..

as for power, hulk has little.. massive strength yes, massive power no... silver surfer has massive power

The only thing that brings Pheonix down a notch is her unable to demolecularise a guy with a healing factor. Based on that, she would lose against the Hulk who has a healing factor more powerful then Wolverine's. Of course, without that plot device Hulk stands no chance. The Silver Surfer with the Board was all powerful but a team creating a field which disrupts the tachyons that bind him to his board would turn him into dog food.

the flaw of all the characters on the list is that they can be killed, mephisto cannot.

if your argument is that he is bound by laws, that wasn't what the question asked.... also... the surfer is also bound by laws.

I'd say it's more between Dark Phoenix and SS as they could both tear Hulk to shreds with a thought.

That'd be speculation on Dark Phoenix's part. She couldn't rip Wolvie to shreds, due to his healing factor, and with all that we saw, we can come to the conclusion that Phoenix can only tear people without enhanced durability/healing factors. With that said, since Hulk's healing factor trumps Wolvie's healing factor (which, in X3, was inconsistent with the first two X-films anyway), he can safely conclude that Hulk would not be ripped to shreds by Phoenix, and would punch her head off.

i guess no one got my memo on durability vs healing factor...

we never saw hulk take ALOT of damage.. and by damage i mean it actually cutting him up, putting holes in him etcs... Hulks got great durability Wolvie does not. The hulk movie does not show us how fast he heals... a bullet never went through his head, he was never stabbed through the chest, etc... so we honestly don't know if he heals faster... just that he can take alot more damage and not have a scratch

I wish I could find the clip but yes he does get cut in the movie (after a carpet bombing, no less) and it healed up damn quickly. Faster than Wolverine does anyway. Plus Hulk would probably be stopped and disoriented once or twice by Phoenix's blasts and then get angrier (and even bigger) and knock her block off.

that is true.. hulk would get angrier and bigger...

as for faster healing factor... depends on which X-men movie... lol he healed pretty damn fast in several scenes of X3

He can grow all he likes. If Dark Phoenix can levitate a house and tear an island to shreds in X3 then I'd say she could do something similar to Hulk. She could use her telekenesis and impale Hulk on a spike or something.

And yet she didn't do that to Wolverine. Are you saying that Wolverine can beat the Hulk?

And please don't say "She just didn't feel like it." because we had that argument in this thread already and for the most part it's agreed that she was going full force on the guy.
