They keep saying they are making another Superman movie...it just pisses me off that they call it Batman vs. Superman. To hell with all that crap. If it is a LEGIT Superman movie/sequel Superman should come first. It seems like it's a Batman reboot and less of a Superman movie

Well in all fairness the Terminator should be the main character of a Terminator movie just like if it's a Man of Steel sequel then Superman should be the main character and Batman be the secondary character

Okay. But there are more examples.

Jurassic Park 2.
Star Wars Episode 4
Metal Gear Solid 2
Resident Evil 2
Ultimate Comics Spider-Man Vol. 2

the list goes on and on.

Well weren't the Jurassic Park movies about Dinosaurs? the human cast is of little importance to me. You could have Dr. Grant or Malcolm or Hammond...it really doesn't matter to me. And things like Star Wars and Resident Evil switch up main characters. I guess you got me on the Spider-Man deal. But I believe in a Superman movie or comic book that Superman should be the main character

The minute this movie was semi-called Batman vs Superman it stopped being MOS2 and became a team up movie

You're confusing "Man Of Steel sequel" with "Superman movie".

It's a sequel to MOS because it's coming after that movie and the storyline and themes continue. But it's not a Superman movie. It's Batman vs Superman. 50/50. Meaning, you can even make a sequel to MOS and call it Trinity or Justice League as long as Superman is in it and the story continues.

It is NOT just a Superman movie.

I guess I see what you're saying, I just think Superman should be the primary character if they are going to do a Superman trilogy and this is part of that trilogy...

Though I agree with what you're saying, we don't know what the division will be.

It could be 25% Batman, or 75% Batman. Who knows right now. That's my point, we don't know.

What we do know is that it's not unheard of for sequels to give focus to different characters, and sometimes put more/all of the focus on them.

what kinda fuel do you use for your delorean?

only the best kind!

I'm just saying that if this is part of a planned trilogy of Superman movies then Superman should be the primary character. If it's NOT part of a trilogy of Superman movies then all is fair game

who's to say that all it'll ever be is a trilogy? it could be a quadrilogy an WF is just an addendum to a "short" con (the MoS arc) of a longer con(DCCU). a scheme in the a grander schemes of dc's proverbial "thing" if you would.

I would also like it if Grayson actually gets the Nightwing name in this movie, from Superman.
That could be funny. Robin "breaks up with" Batman at the beginning of the movie and spends the rest of it as Superman's sidekick instead.

Yes, and Dick Grayson is one of the most important characters in Batman's "world". So it's not far-fetched to include him. I agree! :)
This is a grossly simplified way of thinking about it.

Consider that when the DCAU did their first team up, it was a multi-part episode of Superman the animated series. It featured Batman coming to Metropolis to team up with Superman to face off against Joker, Luthor, and their respective hench-girls. Robin did not appear. Nightwing did not appear. No other heroes appeared. The only supporting Batman character to appear was Alfred, and even he wasn't truly needed to move the story forward. Dick Grayson truly is a deeply connected character for Batman's world, but he doesn't need to appear in every story.

Back on topic, you know who else would be a good option? Aneurin Barnard. He's a very talented young actor who was in 'we'll take manhattan' with Karen Gillen. There's really so many amazing options out there for nightwing!

With the rumour that Nightwing hasn't seen the 'old, tired' Bruce in years, perhaps they'll link a death of Jason Todd story (Batman's unwillingness to kill) with Superman killing Zod.

Perhaps Batman is conflicted about his one rule because he let Jason die over it years ago, and it eats away at him; it drives Dick away (who gravitates towards Superman when he meets him, taking the name Nightwing), etc.

How about Drew Roy (Falling Skies)? The guy looks and acts like he was tailor-made to play Nightwing, IMO.

I actually hope it's more than a trilogy...I'd like to see something akin to the original series to where they keep making them as long as Henry can play Superman

Richard Grayson is for the Arrow show.

Yeah, I've heard conflicting things - Nightwing may be in SvsB (hopefully not), but it does look like its more likely that he'll be in Arrow.

I think that they should just concentrate on the biggies in SvsB, including Lex, and maybe introduce a couple others (i.e. WW or Flash), but just a quick cameo-type thing.
