Sequels Would you change Spidey's costume???

I had that problem of believing that Peter made the costume, but then you have to realize that Raime's universe is entirely fantasy. It's not even like Batman Begins, where it'ds supposed to mirror our world. His universe is one where really nothing makes a whole lot of sense is designed to mirror the style and tone of an old-fashioned comic book.

I liked the Ultimate Spidey take that the wrestling promoter had the suit made for him. They shoulda worked that into the film.

The promoter sees the suit all over the papers. "Hey, it's that kid! He registered his ID here somewhere. I'm going to expose him!" exclaims the wrestling promoter.

The contest paid in cash, so why would anyone have to register their ID? The only thing ruining that in the actual movie was Pete showing up to collect his money without his mask. I mean the promoter ALREADY knows what Spider-man looks like!

Create a different Ben Reilly origin that was partially inspired by the comics.
Yeah. But then most fans would complain, I would maybe to. Just matters on how they did it.

just have the suit the way it was in SM1 when the colours were darker cause for some reason they changed it in SM2 where it looked as if he was going to a fancy dress party with a bright costume.

I thought the SM2 costume rocked.

one prob with the ben suit is why would peter need external webshooters when he's got the organic webbing ?

When you say SM3 costume are you refferring to the black one or the red/blue? Because the red/blue costume I thought was basically the one from SM2 with a darker red and maybe the back spider was a little different. Were there any other differences?

Anyway my favorite Spidey costume was the SM2 one. It colored the best, had the best eyes and just looked the coolest. I do think the back spider was better in SM1 but since we barely get that view long enough to matter, I didn't care.

i liked the SM2 one, but if they went for a more alex ross kind of look i'd be okay with that.

I'm reading the clone saga and I still think Ben Reilly's Red and Blue suit is badass.

I mean seriously, if Sony wanted to change the costume to bring some freshness, I'd totally go with Ben's suit.

Spidey's original is a classic, but Ben's just looks BADASS.

Can anyone post all three movie costumes side by side so we can see the differences? I really didn't notice any differences.

QFT, my friend.

It's just about perfect IMO. But if they are to go for a small different style, I'd say one like Ross's drawings like in the opening credits.

There are two costumes that should never be changed because they're too iconic... Superman and Spider-Man.

It wans't REAL symbiote spiderman. I was the cheap hollywood version...

I would've liked to see the classic style but I wouldn't say the movie version was cheap... I'm betting it had a huge price tag :spidey:

Spidey's suit could use 2 things:

-The Spider-emblem on the back should be more round like in the comics
-The eye part/lenses should be clear white and more black around them

They attempted to use the classic Spidey and Venom suits but it just didn't work out. Spider-Man's suit ended up looking like a fetish suit and Venom's was too bulky and awkward for the cast to use. The suit looks good on paper, but in motion with living people, you just can't make it work as well.
