A) You have nothing to do for 5 days a week from 9-5 but just sit there or...

B) ...it's hectic, but you have tons of fun although you pull all nighters for no over time?

Let's see what I can accomplish for A)

iPod
Book
Mini TV
DS
Cell Phone
Laptop

If I had to literally just sit there and do nothing...I'd still do it.

yeah, the old job i had i did nothing but talk on msn and go on the hype (when i wasnt banned.)

Depends. If I did option 1, then after I gained a large sum of money for a few years, I could just invest and then quit my job and have fun for the rest of my life. If I had to do the job forever, then I'd go with option 2. Time is much more important to me than money. I'd rather be poor and happy than rich and miserable. At the end of my life when I would look back at the choice, I'd be happier that I'd chosen option 2.

the hell with all nighters , I could find something fun to do with nothing.

I like having stuff to do (too used to nothing), so I pick the hectic environment.

With a six figure income I could buy something to entertain me. Even though I choose B on accident.

would option A include lunch breaks, and 15 minutes breaks, like any other job?

I voted B. As a working individual who loves his job, hectic days I leave feeling happy and accomplished, and have a great time solving problems. (I'm a Database Developer/Programmer)

On days where not much is going on I am bored out of my mind and wish for something productive to do. I leave feeling depressed and upset that I didn't get much done.

I actually just got back from work and its 2:40 AM where I live. However I get to sleep in late and go to work about 11:00 am. I take a break usually about 6 - 9 pm. Also I listen to Ipod all day and get to be on the internet due to being a programmer. So its pretty cool.

I'd choose B with 8 weeks of vacation annually. Nothing is worse than sitting in an office day after day with nothing to do. Staying busy makes the time pass by more quickly.

A....duh!

Well honestly it depends on the job, if I were to work a hectic schedule as a film director or something of that sort then definitely B!!! But anything else...A.

I could take my time and write my book and read. It could be boring ONLY if you let it. Seriously you don't have to do A THING!!...I'd bring my laptop or something.
And even if they said "you can ONLY sit and do nothing. No fun."...I'd still sneak something in and they'd never know.

Naw, its not one of those threads that pose hypothetical questions and incur mad stipulations....you get paid to sit there.

You can do whatever sensical thing you want, as long as you are there.

Non-sensical would be bringing strippers to work or something.

Then A by FAR!!! (unless as I said they told asked me to be a movie director, my dream job  ) other than that A!!!

You can have a lot of fun! Bring some homework, take a course online (so you are not wasting time)...read an interesting book, write a book, watch movies on your laptop,etc...it goes on and on. The only restriction is that I actually have to be there.

I would take B but why would I want restless nights when I can have fun and get paid while Im at it?
And its from 9-5 (those hours are not demanding) and 5 days a week. That is the better choice by far. Call me lazy...whatever, at least I wont be losing hair or getting a heart attack from super high stress levels :o
