The script requires an older Batman to teach a young Superman and Wonder Woman etc. Bale is out it seems and his Batman is too "real" to fit into that world anyway. Keaton's Batman though I could see working in that one and I can't think of no one better to play the mentor/detective/mythic Batman than the man that defined to role to millions such as myself.
It would also be a nice way to see more of his take on the character cut short by Schumacher.
What do you guys think ?

I don't even want that crap to be made. Much less to have Keaton involved in that.

Keaton is too old. He can only be brought back if its a Dark Knight Returns or Batman Beyond movie.

dear lord NO. I dont want Keatons Batman tarnished by what is sure to be WB crap.

If the film is good, then yes. Although I don't like that script idea....

But still, Keaton's performance would still be ace. I'd love to see it no matter how poor the script's ideas. And obviously, if it were poor, Keaton wouldn't agree to do it in the first place.

Exactly, I proposed this IF the script is good of course. I know that Keaton wouldn't do it any other way...
Plus he's so good as Batman he would probably save the movie even if it was a bit weak...

Have Keaton as an older batman, the source of wisdom etc and intelligence, perhaps, but it will never happen.

Y'know, actually, to me, Keaton and Reeve seem to be from two totally different eras. While their films might have been released within a few years of each other, their tone and the way they treat superheroes are totally different.

I mean, Reeve's Superman is almost a bridge between the painfully campy West Batman, and full superhero seriousness. Same with Carter's Wonder Woman, actually. Keaton's Batman, however, was totally serious.

You have a good point. But it still would have been cool.

No, like everyone said Keaton is old for it.

No way for that movie. Maybe Beyond but in no way is he Dark Knight Returns version of Batman. That Batman needs to be a brick house of muscle and fat and older.

Well, since the script calls for an older Batman, I wouldn't mind, if the script was good.

And we know that Keaton would only do it if the script was good, he turned down mega $$$$ for Batman Forever.

Most I could see Keaton doing as Batman again would be playing Bruce in a Batman Beyond film.

I'd rather George Clooney be in this movie than Keaton. Its obviously not going to work, keep the good Batmen away from it (Keaton and Kilmer).

you make it look like he's 70 years old and can't move...
Look at the movie heroes that are returning now with great sucess, they are all in their 50's and 60's...
Plus the script requires an OLDER Batman not a young one.

The way I see it Batman should be in his 30s or 40s.

Plus with this new rumor of it all being in CGI, if that is confirmed, Keaton's voice would be perfect for it.

Keaton would be perfect or get Conroy as Batman's voice

id be open to it...

CGI: Yes. I would be open to that suggestion.
Live Action: No. Thanks, but at the same time, no thanks.
