Wow, Will & Grace sucks so bad.

Just today I dared to watch an entire episode.

Never have I seen characters as idiotic, self-involved, selfish, racist and elitist as the main characters of this show; Will, Grace, Jack and Karen.

They are so utterly unlikeable, I can't even believe:

a) The show lasted for so long.
B) That people actually watched it.

Plus, the "jokes" are super lame, and 60% of them just go for the "HONEY, I'M GAY AND YOU BETTER GET USED IT! *snap*" thing, so it also helps to further stereotype the caricature of the super effeminate gay man.

Of course, the rest of the jokes are either Jewish and/or single "I can't get a man and you don't understand how I feel!" or Karen and Jack doing "wacky" stuff.

Jesus Christ, and this garbage got Emmys?

It's just like real life.

I watched a few and even started enjoying it at times, but now I can't stand it and find it's not funny. The jokes are stupid and just don't make me laugh.

I have no idea either way but I remember Sean Hayes in a doritos commercial with Ali Landry where she loads the chips into the dryer in the laundromat and they come shooting out and she catches every single one in her mouth. I know this because I love Ali Landry with every fiber of my being! lol

It pisses me off so much that people flock to **** like this (and while I am at it Friends is also another huge offender, and I think Lost is too) and genuinely great stuff like Angel and Arrested Development , both far superior shows in terms of intelligence and wit, (and actually just superior) are cut off in their prime.

It shows exactly why something being popular doesn't make it good.

Well, considering you're watching lost, and you think that 70's show is a good show, and your name has to deal with one of the most overexposed comic book characters ever, you have >0 room to talk.

Scrubs is about the only US sitcom that I can watch that I like.

You'll probably like Corner Gas it has no laugh track and it's well written. For example on an episode that I recently watched the towns only female cop Karen is roped into going fishing with Hank (Dogrivers weirdest resident, which is saying something and automechanic). Anyway when they get there he starts talking about fishing, and instantly becomes iresistably attractive. So iresistable that Karen jumps on him and bangs him on the river bank. When they get back neither want to speak of it, Hank because he doesn't want people to think he's easy, and Karen because she banged Hank. Then for the rest of the ep the first thing Karen says when anyone talks to her is, "I didn't sleep with Hank!" Then Dogrivers other cop Davis says he lied to get out of fishing with Hank because of how irresistable he is when tlaking about fishing he started having weird fantasies about him.

As for your "Asian" comment....YES!

Vancover is the only Canadian city with enough Asian residents to warrent an attempt at an Asian language TV channel. But that was 10+ years ago, don't know if it worked or not.
