That should clear out the crowd.
I wouldn't leave. :woot:

How long can any man fight the darkness, how long can any man stay in control...before darkness finds him? With greater power comes greater responsibility...
When someone discovers something so dark in his life that feeds on revenge and hate, it puts a poison in your heart for vengeance, a venom that consumes your whole body...

Maybe something like that.:o
that would be great, it sets the darkness for the movie.

Here's one from me:

For the first time in my life, I feel like I'm on top of the world! I have the girl of my dreams, and she knows who I really am. No more secrets. And though it can be tough, I have something now that I didn't have before, someone to share my problems with. She said "I know there will be risks, but I wanna face them with you". Mary Jane Watson, what would I do without you?...

But I will always be spider-man, there's nothing I can do about it. simply trying to live a normal life is not an option for me, no matter what. I tried to forget my destiny ones, tried to delude my self into thinking that the world doesn't need a hero. I stepped back into shadow... I failed my self, I failed the people. Forgot my true colors...I got lost in the dark... The one thing people love more then a hero, is to see a hero fail, fall, die trying. Despite of everything I've done for them, eventually they will hate me, why bother? I dont think that will EVER make sense to me...

after credits, the camera comes on to a picture of m.js face and it pulls back, similar to spidey 2, and its here poster for her play and you hear peter saying this:

"mary jane watson, the girl of my dreams. for so long i wanted her and now i finally have her, along with the happiness that i for so long have forgotten what it was. who am i? i'm peter parker and i'm spider-man, the protector of new york city. its a responsibility that i took on and will never abandon. i finally have a balance in my life...but along with the good, also must come the bad..."

then it goes into the movie...

what do you guys think??? be honest too.

That's the best so far IMO

"Mary Jane Watson...we killed her well."

Movie begins with a shot of NY

Peter Parker (VO) : "No one would have believed in the early years of the twenty-first century that our world was being watched by intelligences greater than our own; that as men busied themselves about their various concerns, *they* observed and studied, the way a man with a microscope might scrutinize the creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. With infinite complacency, men went to and fro about the globe, confident of our empire over this world. Yet across the gulf of space, intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic regarded our planet with envious eyes and slowly, and surely, drew their plans against us."

alot of you guys are saying that it needs to be dark...but peter doesn't know whats going to happen...he knows that right now everything is perfect for him, but he knows that nothing stays good for long, and he will exspect something to happen, but you can't really have the voice over having him saying dark things because at that point he's not.

the voice over in spidey 1 at the begining was telling the story. once you got to the end of the movie the voice over caught up with him and now we were going to see the story as he lived it in spidey 2...so naturally we are seeing the story as he lives it again in spidey 3 since no voice over at the end in spidey 2. so he can't know he turns bad if he hasn't lived it yet.

Here goes my thoughts:

"She is the woman of my dreams, Mary Jane Watson. Now part of my life and the choices I make with it. I won't let anything happen to her or come between us.

But what happens when someone is presented more power. Will it corrupt the man he is or change forever the man he is becoming. My Uncle Ben once said that with great power comes great responsibilty. Who am I you ask? I am Peter Parker and Spider-Man. And, I have a job to do."
:woot:

PETER PARKER:

And they lived happily ever after... or so fairy tales often tell us.

All fairy tales begin their end with a climatic battle against their antagonists... their opposites. It's never trully over until they're defeated, and the loving couple can go home, get married... make a life.

What if our antagonists' were ourselves? How would we be able to defeat the darkness inside all of us? I was about to find out.

"My uncle told me that with great power comes great responsibility. What he didn't tell me was the these responsibilities could tear a man in two, make him question things about himself, and create his largest enemy, within.

So when I look at Mary Jane, the woman I've wanted to for so long, I ask myself what I can do for her, to keep her here, and to keep her safe. Sometimes I wonder... is it all worth fighting for?"

(Then open to a scene of him and Mary Jane arguing) :woot:

I agree I find those awkward :ninja:

"Once i had a life. a normal life. but i gave all that up when something happenned that i could of stopped. I changed. i always wonder what it would be like if i could live a normal life again and he'd still be here. but maybe i wouldn't have what i have today. which is almost everything i ever wanted, Mary Jane Watson, what i dont want is to constantly have to put her in danger but she knows the consequences. you cant change fate. but fate can change you. for better or worse, good or bad. but what if it changes you more. more than just 'bad'. more than you ever know, ever imagined. what if it creates something else.more than a drug, more than just evil. that feeds a venomous poison through your vains. you try and fight it with all your heart but your mind does not want it to stop. what do you do?"

More foreshadowing of something he should have no clue about.

"A great man once told me 'With Great power comes great responsibility', to this day those words are still engraved within me. Everyday I think of him, my beloved Uncle Ben, if it were not for him I wouldn't be who I am today. I have a responsibility, one I had taken years ago, seconds after the last breath of life escaped my Uncle's lips. Who am I? you may ask. If someone told you my story was just a happy litte fairy tale, that person lied.I have a gift, a curse, a responsibility...I'm Spider-man."

ummm the end sounds like the voice overs from the beginning and ending of Spiderman 1

sounds like this could've been an intro voice over to Independence Day

I never thought of that and you make a good point. So here is my new one. Thinking about the teaser got me caught up in the foreshadowing.

"She is the woman of my dreams, Mary Jane Watson. Now part of my life and the choices I make with it. I won't let anything happen to her or come between us. I will try my best to give her what she deserves, and be that man beside her on the hilltop.

Will she marry me? I sure hope so. Nothing can stop me now. Who am I you may ask? I am Peter Parker and Spider-Man, and I can't be late!"

*fade into him foiling some robbers and then rushing into the theatre looking at the wedding ring in his pocket.

Kinda, yeah. A little out there. Peter's intros are internalized & personal. This is too "Outer Limits".
