I need help, I really need a guidance on the things that I should include in an evaluation essay. I'm not asking you to do it for me, I just need things to be outlined to me, so I know what to include in an evaluation.

I have no clue. Hope that helps.

Do your own work Lee, you're so amazing it should be no problem.

Meh.

:(

and I thought that this place had some helpful people.

Not a bunch of arrogant ********s.

wankers.

ouch,Lee.I was just about to help.:(

Sorry dude. I didn't mean everyone...I'm sorry I'm just stressed out. All my work has to be in tomorrow and it's gonna be hard, considering I'm a last minute kinda guy.

I've had four hours sleep and I've got a long night ahead as well.

But sorry Abaddon. I've been able to start now anyways.

I have now been able to finish the whole project and I have achieved alot more than I thought I would during this time. It hasn't been an easy ride but I have learned far more than I thought that I would. I have also been able to discover certain aspects of my own abilities which could help me within the future and maybe even possibly help the direction of my own career.

In this essay I will be able to explore everything that has happened during the last 6 weeks including how well I have coped with creating the final products and also the relationship between me and my co-workers.

Evaluation essay estimates an object, prompting the reader to accept the writer’s point of view. Features of the evaluative essays are very similar to those of cause and effect essays, but no cause-effect relations are considered in evaluation essays. Evaluation technique is widely used for many processes and events: recent events, books, articles, movies, famous people and other.

In the first paragraph of the evaluation essay, the writer should provide the description of an evaluated object carefully selecting the features he is willing to disclose. As stated above, purpose of the evaluation essay is to persuade the reader that the writer’s judgment is correct and to this reason each sentence should demonstrate the writer’s competence. The writer should also provide brief historical information about the subject of evaluation in case he is going to evaluate a movie, book, canvas or any other subject with peculiar historical background (may include author’s name, history of creation, date of publication, etc.). Further, the writer should express his opinion by formulating a definitive judgment in the form of a thesis statement. The following paragraphs should support and substantiate the formulated thesis refuting the possible counterarguments. However, profound argumentation should be left for an argumentative essay, while the evaluation essay should state the writer’s estimation of an object in an authoritative manner.

The writer of an evaluation essay should be reasonable in his judgments, i.e. his estimations should be based on objective, universally recognized criteria. Each judgment should be supported by evidence (example, description, statistics, opinion of other individuals, etc.). In case the writer chooses to utilize comparisons in his evaluation, he has to be sure that the compared objects are equivalent. The writer should demonstrate an unbiased tone, remembering about the necessity to formulate own opinion though. The writing style should be corresponding with the object of evaluation. It is necessary to remember that writing style reflects on the writer and not the object of evaluation.

My advice Lee is to find someone smart. Look for glasses or a pocket protector. Threaten them with physical violence til they write you a paper. Write your name on the top and submit.

It's also best in a report not to speak in first person.

:o:o

i.e. try not to say 'I' at any point through out...

this is throughout a document and not just for an evaluation.

also colloquial terms like 'an easy ride' should be avoided at all cost, it's not a creative piece of writing...

and you don't have to say "In my opinion".Thats a given.

well that's a bit hard considering it's a f**king self analysis lol

but I'll try my best. I'm sure it doesn't matter too much at college level though.

so you're righting a self evaluation then?

if you are writing a self evaluation then why would you need help on what to put in.

it's quite clearly a S.W.O.T analysis

strengths
weakness
opportunities
threats

easy as pie, contain a section on all of these and you can't go wrong.

as for content, you should know it better than anyone else.

bonne chance mon ami.

That is true. Sorry, I just got confused and I always find starting something really difficult. As soon as I get into it I'm ok.
