That's the thing - I keep reading that he's 'unlikeable' and 'the character you love to hate' but I actually quite like him though. And I certainly dont hate him.

Maybe I'm biased because I've always found Walker fascinating. Maybe its down to good writing and/or Wyatt. I dunno. But I'm actually rooting for him.

Yeah, I don’t know that I exactly “like” him but I want him to redeem himself. I’m not sure that he will but I always found US Agent to be an interesting hero (or anti-hero) in the comics and so it would make me a little sad if he goes full-on villain here.

The way I would put it is based on his current actions, I wouldn't defend Walker but neither would I condemn him.

I mean, Homelander makes John Walker look like Steve Rogers. Homelander is only kept from being the unambiguous biggest villain of The Boys, because there are so many complete monsters competing for the role. Its just, Homelander is a big hammy villain role, whereas John is a tragic fallen hero role. They aren't really comparable in dramatic terms.

Sebastian Stan got to act more within a couple particular scenes than in the past five MCU movies he's been in so far.

I'd love to see a U.S. Agent show aswell, especially after what we have seen these Dinsey Plus shows do with other underutilized characters in the MCU. I expect Loki to give Tom Hiddleston alot of shine aswell, but I never got much out of Sam, Bucky or Wanda until they got their own shows.

It also helps that Wyatt Russell is just as talented of an actor as Olsen, Mackie and Stan too and could definitely lead his own show if given the chance.

Wyatt Russell is 100 times more talented than his half brother and is also more talented than his half sister, Kate Hudson, but I think that's because Kate hasn't done anything of relevance in a while

Yeah, if Walker was a character on The Boys, he’d generally be looked at as one of the better ones, lol. At least he’s not a rapist, a Nazi or a peeping Tom.
