X-Men 3 is headed in the same direction as Mortal Kombat Annihilation.

not really maze old boy, most people would stand up, but you seem to except alot of things. besides people are talking about killling fox execs in the cyclops forum, and other unspeakable things. It makes me wonder what else they would like to "kill" for dumb reasons......

How is it headed in the same direction? MKA was horrible to begin with. Only two actors from the original came back. The cast wasn't all that great. The special effects sucked. The plot didn't make any sense.

Opening SCENE:Ruins of the golden gate bridge

The x-team is surrounded buy numerous evil mutants, as they are scattered about the destoyed bridge. The evil mutant emperor lord Magneto has his forces ready to destroy mankind. Cyclops fights of some mutants, and sees Magneto laughing evilly ontop a pillar. He ISsurrounded buy his main guys Jugs,Pyro, and Mystique. Xavier comes hovering up on his new hover chair, with the other memebers of the X-men. Cyclops greets them, but the moment is broken by magnetos evil voice.

"TELL ME CHARLES, DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN WIN?" Magneto arrogantly asks.

"THIS IS WRONG ERIC, YOU HAVE BrOKEN THE RULES!" Xaviers yells.

Cyclops then bravely leaps at Magneto, but Mags hits him with a metal plate. Mags then picks up the weak Cyclops, and grabs him buy the neck.

"If you want to save one of you prescious X-men, then bow your head before me Charles." Mags says

The other X-men look at Xavier, and Xavier hover up to Magneto in shame.

"As you wish eric." Xavier says as he bows is head.

"SUCKER!" Mags yells out.

Mags breaks Scotts neck, and then laughs.

"NO!" Xavier yells out.

The other X-men yell in anger as well.

"IT HAS BEGUN!" Magneto states.

For those of you that aren't familiar with Mortal Kombat Annihilation, it was the sequel to the video game movie Mortal Kombat which was a surprise hit. MKA tried to have it all, and failed horribly.

It was crammed to the brim with characters, there was no room for character development. The plot took a giant nosedive with pathetic plot devices and killing off great characters for terrible reasons. Sounding familiar?

I groan with each cast addition report on more mutants (If that model is Stacy X, WTF?!), and how important characters are looking to go out in a whimper (Especially

Cyclops getting punked when he's essential to the whole storyline. Hell, even if he doesn't die he's apparently gotten the big shaft again. Where does he get sidetracked this time

). Mutant cure? Even if it's a cover for the legacy virus it's a lame plot device that rehashes "Bad man wants to get rid of mutants" from X2. They even have use a mutant to produce the "problem solving" agents they need AGAIN.

False. MKA was directed by someone else, Paul Anderson directed the first which was a GOOD movie. AVP sucked hard though.

It's obvious X3 and MKA are different movies, but they're going down the same road. X-Men 3 is under an even tighter schedule than MKA was, don't expect anything as awesome as X2.

Have you read the reviews? It has already been stated that X3 isn't as good as X2 but it is still a pretty good movie!!!

I think it's common knodledge by now that they butchered the Dark Phoenix Saga.

But the MKA comparision is unfair...to MKA.
