Thank you for reminding me. It was a quick little manip I did on my phone. I just took the new poster and added a few things to it. I should have flipped the image.

I've never seen any movie with Channing Tatum. I really hopes he can nail Gambit.

And that makes me think that soon we'll be getting news about Gambit casting as well. There will probably be familiar names there.

To be fair he had to bulk up for Foxcatcher playing a pro wrestler and magic mike 2 to play a stripper. He still has time to slim for Gambit.

Yeah, knowing how much Tatum wanted the role I dont think he would intentionally p*ss off fans by turning Gambit into a muscle bound meat head, I am guessing of course and I admit Tatum still has work to do to win over a lot of people in the role.

I've come to accept that they're never going to cast actors who look perfect for their respective roles. It's only diehard fans that care about that anyways. The only actors that have truly matched his/her comic book counterparts physically are Patrick Stewart, Kelsey Grammer, and I guess Daniel Cudmore (haha). The rest were just dressed and styled for their part... some with much success and some with less.

Technically, Tatum as Gambit is actually one of the closer matches in this franchise. He can even pull off a lot of the acrobatic stunts.

And about Cudmore, yeah, he kinda looks like Colossus, but Chris Evans is bigger as Captain America as he is as Colossus. So...

Never said I wanted pretty over talented. Just saying that I've come to accept that they often go with actors who don't necessarily match up to their comic book character in terms of physical appearance (again, not about being pretty). Also, almost all of the franchise's actors are great actors, but that doesn't always mean they're good for the part... but that's a whole different discussion.

Wow. These are the first manips I like. This is pretty much what I want to see (black uniforms with individualized colours). I'd just change the yellow to blue in Cyke's costume, but otherwise, they're all perfect.
