Fantastic Four

After two mediocre movie the franchise needs a reboot.

The FF.

Especially now that MS is moving forward with the cosmic part of MU.

FF. After the Avengers, I just want to see Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, and Reed Richards in the same scene together.

Fantastic Four as they affect alot of the major storylines in Marvel.
We'd get the Hulk/Thing fight
Most of the Illuminati (I hated how they blacked them out in Planet Hulk DVD)
We can get Negative Zone, Annihulas, Galactus, Silver Surfer and Galactus.

I completely agree, I really would love to see Galactus/Silver Surfer done right. And they'd have all of the Illuminati except Professor X, which I easily could live with.

After FF would be X-Men, as some of the mutants play big parts in the Avengers (mostly Wolverine, but I'd appreciate proper back story for SW and QS).

Daredevil would be nice to have, but he doesn't have strong ties to the Avengers and we're not really missing anything by not having him. It'd just be nice to have him to be in the MCU.

Fantastic 4 !

I really need to see "The Ever Lovin Blue Eyed" Thing brought to life on the big screen the correct way!

Fantastic Four, they're Marvels first family.
They've been there from the very beginning, ushering in what Marvel would become. To bring this universe to the screen without them... it just feels wrong.

Definitely Fantastic Four. X-Men's franchise has been a solid franchise all around, consisting of mostly good movies. Daredevil as much as I hate to admit it, isn't mainstream enough for a huge franchise to develop, but the Fantastic Four has so much potential. Regardless, I doubt that we will ever see a FF reboot.

Another (minor) bonus of bringing the Fantastic Four back into the Marvel fold: the potential for a scene between Chris Evans and the new Johnny Storm. :funny:

The big problem for me with FF coming to Marvel Studios is that it is hard to fit them into that world without doing anOther origin film, which I do not want right now.

Not necessarily. They could always do it In Media Res. Introduce them already in operation and just have their origin come up in conversation. Assume they've been around for six months or something. Just look at The Incredible Hulk. They did his origin during the credits and that was it, and we're introduced to a Bruce Banner who's already on the run. Same deal, here. Frankly, I think there're plenty of comic movies that could make use of that instead of needing another 30 minute origin sequence.

I'm fine with the X-Men not being a part of the MCU. Daredevil and the Fantastic Four on the other hand....

Like the above poster mentioned, do it like TIH. We've seen the previous films, so people should know the origin story already. Just gloss over it in the opening sequence and start some later, which clears the movie for 2-2 and a half hours of FF plot.

Ehhhh, I think the first two Fantastic 4 films can easily fit in the MCU.
They can take place a couple years after The Avengers. A Marvel Studios film or crossover can continue where Rise of the Silver Surfer left off and reveal Galatus's true form.

As for Daredevil, no reboot required. Just establish that those events took place 9 years ago.

And for the X-Men, they can just treat the First Class and Wolverine films as a reboot and establish a lower population of Mutants in the hundreds instead of the millions. The events in X-Men to The Last Stand would have to either be ignored or explained.

I sincerely wish that some enterprising soul at Fox would find some way to erase X-Men 3 from history completely. Seriously, I'd be ecstatic if they made the whole thing a dream or something. It absolutely kills me how we had a movie series that started off strong, got so much better in its second installment... and then DIED a horrible death in its third time out. Damn Brett Ratner!!!

Who knows what the plan is for X-Men 4, but I think one of the most important things they need to do for it is find some way to negate the damage X-Men 3 caused to the franchise. Bring Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Professor X back (And yeah, I know Professor X kind of came back in the after credits sequence, but it isn't quite the same). The second thing they need to do is do what the comics did to Magneto, namely de-age him. Let's face facts, here. Ian McKellan doesn't have a whole lot of time left. So they should take a page from the comics and de-age him so that Michael Fassbender can take on the role in the modern films. Personally, I think it'd be killer to see Michael Fassbender in the modern day as Magneto.

FF was a disgrace.
X2 and X:FC were amazing

so it's an easy choice

Ideally, I would love to see FF get a reboot, DD to get a TV series, and X-Men to continue its current direction (even though its in kind of a weird place right now). While Fox can probably handle the latter two, there's not much point in giving FF a fresh start unless it's part of the Marvel cinematic universe.

I voted X-Men, even though I really liked First Class. Mainly because of the potential in having an Avengers vs. X-Men movie. Cap vs. Wolverine, Thor vs. Storm, Iron Man vs. Cyclops, Hulk vs. Beast, etc. There is just so much potential in seeing that on-screen that I had to vote for it.

Cable movie. Have Cable travel back in time to avert a dark future, arriving between X-Men 2 and 3.

While I still think the X-Men
most need to clear up their continuity and then stay moving forward at Fox. Several interesting scenarios could come from an Avengers vs X-Men movie...

As mentioned Captain America vs Wolverine (Especially if they had met initially in the 1940's)

Storn and Black Panther's relationship

Hulk vs a telepath like Emma Frost,Jean Grey or Professor X

Hawkeye and/or Black Widow vs Nightcrawler

The worst thing about putting the X-Men and the Avengers in the same universe is that it would pretty much guarentee that Cyclops will still be considered inferior to all the other "cooler" heroes. :csad:

Fantastic 4 by far.....my favorite team deserves the Marvel royal treatment and after how insanely bada** Avengers was, its time for F4 to get that type of treatment. Then when polls start asking who is your favorite villain from MCU, etc....then hopefully, Dr. Doom's name will take the top spot cause a Doom on the big screen done correctly like his comic book counterpart would be epic and legendary....

****, that's not a bad idea. And they should get Stephen Lang to play him. I've always thought he'd make for a bad ass Cable ever since I saw him in Avatar.

Does Fox own the rights to Cable, though? Last I heard, Marvel had the rights, which is just friggin' weird. What's the point of having Cable without the X-Men, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Mutants, Mr. Sinister, or Apocalypse?

FF. Somone needs to do a good Doom to was away the bad taste of DINO

Yeah, it baffles me, too. I suppose Marvel could still use Cable, since the basic idea "superhuman soldier returned from the future to change history" isn't *too* mutant-reliant. Just make his psychic powers more generic in origin, and change the nature of the bad future he is fighting to prevent.

of course if only one of the Fox Marvel properties could go back to Marvel - it HAS to be the Fantastic Four. They are the foundation upon upon which ALL the Marvel Universe was built on. This would then put Dr. Doom back where he belongs, too!
