Plus....this is the right way to do it....I mean use a movie's popularity and kid uber freindly toy line to put out both movie and comic figures.

If this get's to run a wave or two (and I assume it'll got 3 or 4 then likely turn into an X-men line that will run as a sister line to Fury Files (Explaining why there are so few mutants in Fury Files))....where was I...oh yeah, if it goes a few waves and judging by the movie we'll likely see comic Emma, Blob, Cyke and Storm....at the least.

I'm glad knowing that hasbro isn't canceling 6' inch MLs but since they are making these 4' inch figures I wouldn't mind if some of them popped up in in ML sets I wouldn't mind a second deadpool ML

I'm surprised we haven't seen the Wolverine and the X-men figures yet.

3.75" is more profitable. Also Wolverine and the X-men figures are going to launch with the movie line and be 3.75" too.

yeah profits is the problem for ML collectors cause they're focused on these lines more right now than showing anyone what is in MLs future. they're more focused on super hero squad figures and mighty muggs than MLs.

and I was kidding about the WATXM figures, I meant cause they're showing us everything but the 2009 ML line.

you all can jump on board for those GI JOE/ STAR WARS marvel figures. but I'm against them. I just want more 6 inch figures instead of starting over. its much more logical when you have 300+ figures.

I wish MLs were more like DC Direct Figures(not articulation wise) They are so easy to find at LCS and then they can send all your GI Joe sized super heroes to target and walmart instead of having exclusive waves.

Profitable for Hasbro. The arrogance of collectors sometimes. ML doesn't appeal to that big of a market. Which means it doesn't sell that well to kids. Plus unless they start retreading all of what Toybiz did Hasbro hasn't got much in the way of sellable figures left.

I haven't bought the any 6" yet. So I'm just going to go with Hasbro's 3 3/4 line. Out of the ones pictured I'll pick up Wolvie (the one in the main 3 3/4 line is black for some reason), Gambit & Deadpool.

The Deadpool looks freakin' sweet.


Off-topic: But is there any good 3 3/4" DC figures? Out now?

I love ML....I have every single ML they put out there.......But.....well....I am fully embracing the 3 3/4 era....I mean, yeah I'll still get every ML they put out and I'll love them. but I can see that 3 3/4 is they way it's going and the way it's going to be......and I'm just not ready to stop yet.

I kind of like the idea of starting again.........plus these'll be in a much better scale for Sentinels.........and I can only assume that the shipping will be better for distribution here in Canada....and they'll be cheaper

but I mean really.....each new wave of MLs is giving us a couple new characters and a bunch of redos, and in this first stuff we've seen in 3 3/4 they have guys coming to us thay we don't already have.

I look at the SW line and they are very great about their figure selection there.....there are always the big Lukes and Hans (which the manage to put out so many different accurate versions of) and then they put out the mid names.....but they also hit up collectors for suggestions and polls and they put out guys that weren't in the movies at all and they put out guys that were in the background of one frame.......hell like once a year they do a whole wave of fan choices, and hasbro is great about army builders in this scale.

the more and more I think about it the more and more on board i get with this.......Sure I would rather have more MLs.....but i am really ****ing excited to start something new again.

I can't tell you how excited I was back in 2000....i'd bought these greeat Spider Man Classic figs, and thought they were cool enough...but the day I saw and bought that first ML captain America.......I was so excited for what was going to be coming down the road and in the future.........with this new 3 3/4 **** coming down.....I can see a lot happening......So I am in support because it's not something I strongly oppose and it's happening either way.

Another think I'll like about this scale is that I'll be able to pich and choose which varients I want and which ones I dont as there'll be no BAF forcing me to get em all........sadly though they'll be no BAFs

I want the old ML Deadpool so bad.I doubt I'll start recollecting everything.I still have a bunch holes in my Toybiz/Hasbro ML still and there are the DCU figures I'm gonna want.I'll spend my money there and on my ever expanding Graphic Novel collection.so yea I'm not down with this line.Although that Deadpool is tempting.......

I also want the ML DP. If Hasbro would re-release that, I'd buy it. Though my focus will be 3 3/4.

The Deadpool & Gambits look pretty good.

Hasbro is on & off when it comes to figures. For example in the Indiana Jones line, the Raiders of the Lost Ark wave sucked, KOCS wave was mediocre (the Indys, Mutts & Russian troopers were good ) while the LC & TOD are awesome.

sorry roughie, ignorance isn't probably the best word... but when i think about how much money i've spent on legends... and when i think about most of the 3 3/4 figs being about the price of a $7 legend... i gasp.. and can't even contemplate starting over. it's pointless... takes up more space, and display wise quality and pose ability reign supreme, so ML's knock them pip squeaks out of the water.

I think some people are forgetting that not everyone collected ML figures, and that this new line will give collectors an alternative to overpaying for old ML figures on ebay.
