X-Men Origins: Wolverine figures

nope.....just Marvel toys.

not anytime soon.

Rough i was at comic con actually talking to hasbro employees. They said there still planning alot for the legends line... its not dying anytime soon.

And there's been no new announcements about anything since comic-con for both lines. (other then now just these wolverine figs)

Profitable for Hasbro. The arrogance of collectors sometimes. :whatever: ML doesn't appeal to that big of a market. Which means it doesn't sell that well to kids. Plus unless they start retreading all of what Toybiz did Hasbro hasn't got much in the way of sellable figures left.

Its not arrogance, it's the fact that they got this line and don't care about it anymore. If they don't sell well to kids why did they want the property? There are plenty of newer and older characters and alternative costumed characters that Toybiz has never made. This is a useless argument cause you don't understand that I know kids like to buy little over priced piece of crap toys such as that Bukuga BS which cost more than 1 ML figure yet use less plasic than a super hero squad figure. I know little kids like crap. That is why I said they should distribute their product to Comic shops like DC Direct and not worry about retailers like target and wallmart. guess you only read my first sentence.

kids don't prefer a certain size.. they'll take anything as long its there favorite characters. and thats the truth, crap or not.

Theres no reason why 3 3/4 figs need to be made. Hasbro is just after money

This is very true.

i honestly don't blame Hasbro for going 3 3/4...they're just trying to do something new for themselves. In the area I live in, ML haven't sold since TB was still doing them. Now they're just warming the shelves. The Ares wave hasn't moved since WM first got them in, which is a shame because aside from the "spider-man" in the line, it's an impressive looking wave.

Besides....I don't see anyone complaining about the size of Star Wars or GI Joe figures.

People complained about the Joes when Sigma 6 came out... not the same size... If Hasbro decided to just make 6" Star Wars figs, people would complain cause they've been making them 3 3/4" for years and a scale change like this would anger people... just like the possible scale change is angering some ML fans like myself...

fixed :)

sorry roughie, ignorance isn't probably the best word... but when i think about how much money i've spent on legends... and when i think about most of the 3 3/4 figs being about the price of a $7 legend... i gasp.. and can't even contemplate starting over. it's pointless... takes up more space, and display wise quality and pose ability reign supreme, so ML's knock them pip squeaks out of the water.

your falling under the exact brainwashing hasbro wants you to think in order for there plans to be successful.
I have to agree with you, If they are going to be as much as my old TBMLs... **** that, I'm not starting over.

but dont you see? there not trying to do something new... they wanna do something "cheaper" so they can suck you into buying more.... look they will probably be $7 each... smaller figs mean less articulation and less worry about paint apps as well = cheaper cost. add that to using less plastic = more figs = cheaper... then with more figs people buy more... and at $7 a pop they make a huge profit.

a 3 3/4 line appeals to moms who want their kids to have toys not collectors cause if this line is like 6.99 or 7.99 bucks and the average legend figure is 9.99 they will buy two 3 3/4 figures over two 9.99 figures. I hope this fails, but I hoped super hero squad and Mighty MUGGS would fail and they're still around some how. this is just one more cheap Item for toy scalpers to buy all of and make a profit on Ebay people will pay $15+ for these on ebay.

actually thats not entirely true either... smaller toys due to star wars influence usually appeals to collectors more then kids. add to that smaller parts equal more lost parts and chokable parts, something mom arn't fond of.

and i love mighty muggs... grr at you

I go to some SW collector sites & some people say they would like to see 6" SW figures... as long as it doesn't replace the 3 3/4" line. I don't think Hasbro is done with 6" Marvel figures. This is a way to get some more characters into the 3 3/4" line-up.

3. Can you give us an idea of what the future holds for the Marvel Legends 6" line? You intimated at SDCC that the BaF model was likely finished, and that two packs were the future. Can we expect to see new Two Packs unveiled at Toy Fair or NYCC? As you can imagine, this line has been around quite some time and has many hungry fans eager for news. The lack of upcoming product invariably feeds speculation that the line is being suspended. Can you give us at least a hint one way or another?

We'll be revealing some new news on Legends shortly. There are still a lot of great characters left to do in 6" and we know that collectors are hungry for more. We also know that most Legends collectors want to avoid getting new versions of "A" characters that they already have, which makes it hard to drive the necessary volumes for mass retail. With that said, there's a plan in the works that we think you're going to like. Details to follow shortly..

6 inch line is still in the plans. 3 3/4 inch line has not killed it.

hmmm....maybe they're gonna drop the number produced and hit specialty stores only (like DCD) as someone else suggested.

And jack up the price.

I hope they re-release ML Deadpool, or repaint it. I want lots & lots of Deadpool crap.

maybe they will keep to retailers and include specialty shops and keep both scales, i like both , i collect the movie lines in 3 3/4" cause its to scale with hulk, but i still like my 6" stuff like batman movie masters and marvel legends though i havent bpught a new legend since my brother whipped me with sinisters coat and broke it i got upset and threw the whole figure a way, i was a stupid little ****.

So is a March date expected, or do you think Hasbro will wait because either Fox has character designs on hold (Deadpool) or because they're launching the regular 3 3/4 line that month?

I think we'll see 3 3/4 inch stuff well before March...Hell I've already got a Silver Surfer from Sinagapore.....

Hasbro says the official release date is March 1st or something.

god damn release them already hasbro, we're(i'm) waiting

eh... the line looks dumb, too bad there not in 6inch scale... the DS wolvie fig seems to be in the right scale though, they said he stands 6inches while on base... which means he should fit in with the marvel movie figs just fine.
