nope.....just Marvel toys.
If you want a Marvel Comics action figure line to collect that isn't only one fig every month or two (Marvel Select) then it's gonna have to be 3 3/4
Profitable for Hasbro. The arrogance of collectors sometimes.ML doesn't appeal to that big of a market. Which means it doesn't sell that well to kids. Plus unless they start retreading all of what Toybiz did Hasbro hasn't got much in the way of sellable figures left.
This is very true.kids don't prefer a certain size.. they'll take anything as long its there favorite characters. and thats the truth, crap or not.
Theres no reason why 3 3/4 figs need to be made. Hasbro is just after money
i honestly don't blame Hasbro for going 3 3/4...they're just trying to do something new for themselves. In the area I live in, ML haven't sold since TB was still doing them. Now they're just warming the shelves. The Ares wave hasn't moved since WM first got them in, which is a shame because aside from the "spider-man" in the line, it's an impressive looking wave.
Besides....I don't see anyone complaining about the size of Star Wars or GI Joe figures.
I have to agree with you, If they are going to be as much as my old TBMLs... **** that, I'm not starting over.fixed
sorry roughie, ignorance isn't probably the best word... but when i think about how much money i've spent on legends... and when i think about most of the 3 3/4 figs being about the price of a $7 legend... i gasp.. and can't even contemplate starting over. it's pointless... takes up more space, and display wise quality and pose ability reign supreme, so ML's knock them pip squeaks out of the water.
your falling under the exact brainwashing hasbro wants you to think in order for there plans to be successful.

a 3 3/4 line appeals to moms who want their kids to have toys not collectors cause if this line is like 6.99 or 7.99 bucks and the average legend figure is 9.99 they will buy two 3 3/4 figures over two 9.99 figures. I hope this fails, but I hoped super hero squad and Mighty MUGGS would fail and they're still around some how. this is just one more cheap Item for toy scalpers to buy all of and make a profit on Ebay people will pay $15+ for these on ebay.
People complained about the Joes when Sigma 6 came out... not the same size... If Hasbro decided to just make 6" Star Wars figs, people would complain cause they've been making them 3 3/4" for years and a scale change like this would anger people... just like the possible scale change is angering some ML fans like myself...
3. Can you give us an idea of what the future holds for the Marvel Legends 6" line? You intimated at SDCC that the BaF model was likely finished, and that two packs were the future. Can we expect to see new Two Packs unveiled at Toy Fair or NYCC? As you can imagine, this line has been around quite some time and has many hungry fans eager for news. The lack of upcoming product invariably feeds speculation that the line is being suspended. Can you give us at least a hint one way or another?
We'll be revealing some new news on Legends shortly. There are still a lot of great characters left to do in 6" and we know that collectors are hungry for more. We also know that most Legends collectors want to avoid getting new versions of "A" characters that they already have, which makes it hard to drive the necessary volumes for mass retail. With that said, there's a plan in the works that we think you're going to like. Details to follow shortly..
