I have zero interest in this, but hot dayumn that is quite a set of artists. :wow:

IMO it would have made more sense for Storm to go against Cyclops but since she has been relegated to BP' woman she's no longer relevant to the X-verse
at this point, it seems pointless to even mention that. Ive been saying the same thing for years. There is no interest in Storm as a lead character in the X-titles anymore unfortuantely.

I'm interested. I'd be more interested if it was The Avengers vs Wolverine/X-Force and Scott's world getting f***ed up in the middle.

yeah I know but its stupid things like this that keep me from coming back to the X-books

yeah it would have been nice to see the consequences of setting up a nation within the limits of the US

That casts the Avengers as less than heroic. They're not a bunch of racists who would consider mutantkind in general acceptable casualties just to take down X-Force.

Storm just took the lead in Astonishing X-Men last week.

"Quickly, Wolverine! Stab that teenage boy to death because he might or might not do something dangerous in the future despite his good intentions!"

Ah, Earth's mightiest heroes.

Cool cover but still have no real interest in the event. I was reading the Shattering, the Twelve and Ages of Apocalypse/Search for Cyclops a few weeks ago and, honestly, I felt more of an emotional connection to the X-Men and what they went through in those stories than I have to just about anything they've been through in recent years (with the exception of sharing some of Beast's "What am I even doing here?" feeling in X-Nation and Kitty coming back to Earth - only to find she was still phased). I guess that says I have no taste in comics.

Ha, I'm all for killing for little reason but Heinberg's Avengers need to go to the Ultimate Universe already

You're going to make me cry. :csad:

Yeah the art team is outrageous and hey it's Aaron doing a team book for the first time, thats exciting. Got his Wolverine Omnibus all pre-ordered aswell. :)

Rogue/Magneto/Gambit... how the Hell does that even work? Mags is like old enough to be her grandfather.

Not to mention that they were married and had a kid in the Age of Apocalypse universe.

I prefer to see it differently.

The Avengers find out about Wolverine's actions in Uncanny X-Force and not only revoke his membership in the Avengers, but also decide to take responsibility for his actions.

Meanwhile Scott is torn over the fact that Wolverine went behind his back and coming to the fact that he would look like a hypocrite for going after Wolverine because he once sanctioned X-Force. You have Wolverine and Magneto pressuring Scott to support them while the rest of the heroic community pressuring him to do something about Wolverine's rogue actions.

In the end, to preserve the future of mutantkind, Scott sides with the Avengers and expels Wolverine, Magneto, and Fantomex from the X-Men, for essentially destroying human/mutant relations while keeping Angel and Psylocke on account of the whole Archangel thing and Scott wanting to help his friend.

This kind of story would really help Wolverine. Being accepted by the heroic community and being on 50 teams has really hurt the character. Now we have people who should hate Wolverine attending his birthday party! And Remender's Wolverine is also shown to be growing quite arrogant with his ranking in the X-Men's leadership and being a member of the Avengers. Temporarily isolating Wolverine from the Marvel Universe and giving him some humility would give the character a new beginning IMO.

Wait, why would Magneto be kicked out in that scenario? He's not part of X-Force, and Scott's not about to kick him off the island simply for having a differing opinion.

well his body has been rejuvinated on more than one occasion to physical prime. so even though hes like 70 in age, his body is probably that of a mid 30-early 40 year old.

Also, young women bang old dudes all the time. You'll understand when you're old and 18 year olds wanna jump your bones and possibly shatter your hip. :o

Because Magneto has used X-Force for his own purposes, purposes that don't involve protecting mutantkind, but ones that involve straight up murder.

Yeah, he just bribed Logan to kill some old Nazi in exchange for his silence about X-Force.
